The first of the new Glint For Gold podcasts that is also now available in video format on YouTube (search Glint Pay for all Glint's films). In this episode, Jason and Gary are joined by economist, Geoff Blanning and discuss his new White Paper - 'Put the Tools Away Now, Please', that presents the economic and social consequences of the UK's monetary policy regime, and what the government can do about it.Read the White Paper here: https://glintpay.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Geoffrey-Blanning-Put-the-tools-away-now-please.pdf
Jason and the team are joined by very special guest, Sir Steven Wilkinson, Founder and MD of Good & Prosper Ltd. a platform for entrepreneurs and business leaders to explore and develop ideas for building excellent, human-scale organisations. The conversation covers the financial divide between the 'haves and the have-nots', how the UK government might have better handled COVID, how younger people are thinking about consumerism and why gold will play an important part in our financial future.
In this Special Gold Report, the Glint team presents a discussion between Chief Investment Officer of Byte Tree Asset Management, Charlie Morris and Glint's Founder and CEO, Jason Cozens. In this fascinating exchange of ideas, centred around the "Atlas Pulse Gold Report 2021", the pair discuss the Gold Bull Market, Bond Yields, Inflation, Debt, De-globalisation, Crypto currencies; and Charlie introduces his new model of BOLD = Bitcoin + Gold.
In this episode Jason and Gary discuss the UK Budget with Tax Expert, Guy Kelland. Along with GOLD, they discuss 'stealth tax', Bitcoin, and the good and bad that came out of the budget, leading to the question 'are we entering another Great Depression?'. This is a wonderfully illuminating discussion that engages the listener with important facts, presented through an easy to understand and accessible conversation, with no dumbing-down. A must listen for anyone trying to understand the Budget.
This week the Glint team is joined by the financial columnist with Money Week and the Guardian, Dominic Frisby, author of “Bitcoin, the future of money”. Dominic presents the case for Bitcoin and its perceived rivalry with gold, in a world where purchasing power has been undermined by inadequate national currencies. Jason stands firmly in gold’s corner, but is there an outright winner?
Gary and Ella quiz Jason, Glint’s founder and CEO on all things Glint to give a short and informative introduction to the brand, its purpose and why it makes such great sense to open a Glint account. Whilst we strongly believe that gold is the fairest and most reliable currency on the planet, we obviously need to point out that it isn’t 100% risk free. Although we have seen a steady increase over time, the value of gold can fall, which means the purchasing power of the customer can also fall.
This week, in the run-up to the holidays, Gary and Ella are joined by Jason Cozens, founder and CEO of Glint, to discuss the ups and downs of 2020 and thoughts for 2021.
