Biologically Bankrupt

Today, we’re joined by Anne Clarke Sanders. Anne spent the first thirty-plus years of her professional career as a trial attorney, back when women lawyers were few and far between. By the time she was in her “mid-50's burnout”, as she calls it, she decided to leave the legal world behind and to try her hand at writing. Her first book, Biologically Bankrupt, provides a ruthlessly honest personal look at the far reaching effects of generational dysfunction in her family. Sometimes painful to read, but in the end it’s a story about love, choices and redemption.

A Path to Healing

Joined by Diane Alexander, we discuss discovering, understanding and finding a pathway to healing and recovery.Whether you are discovering your way through addiction, mental health, physical health, or something else entirely; you can always find help through communicating with friends, family, people on the same path, or with a professional. There are always people who want to help.Learning to laugh again can be hard, but it is possible. Remember, asking for help is not a weakness, its your greatest strength.
As each of us, in whatever kind of Recovery or Healing journey we’re on, walk in this new path, we tend to seek out friends for support, compassion, and comfort. If we’re working a PROGRAM, it’s crucial to develop new support and friends inside that UNITY, but friends are friends, and we NEED them.
Joined by my friend of MANY years, Keturah Stickann. We are discussing the impact Grief has on life and how we work through.  Who knew how much time it would take... GRIEF has NO time limit.

I’m Grateful and Recovering, but have MUCH to learn. I was compelled to create a platform for others in the Performing Arts Community to have a VOICE.When we are no longer blind to our blindness - then we are touched by painful feelings. But even with our pain, we are worlds away from that blindness.
