Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Social media, the internet, magazines, and other life influences are causing discontentment in many people. It has become so easy to compare our lives to those of others and say 'if only'. However, what is the cost of doing this?In this episode, I share my thoughts and struggles with if only, what I believe some of the root causes are, and how we can start to remedy them.Philippians 4:11-13 (NIV): I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. How do you deal with sudden endings? It can happen at any time to anyone. The sudden end of a relationship, friendship or other life situations can induce feelings of loss or sadness. These situations, feelings or emotions can be unexpected yet sudden endings are a part of life. In this episode, I share my thoughts on a recent sudden ending that I had.
