I've tried, but this is where I give up on this season. It doesn't deserve the 'POWER' umbrella, because it's not investigating the power of the man or his empire. It would have been more honest to call it 'Uncritical tittle-tattle from the Playboy mansion'. No story arc, no cultural critique, just a succession of tedious anecdotes serving no clear purpose, presented by somebody obviously chosen for sounding like a bad porn actor. A major opportunity missed, and very disappointing.

What a shame you felt it necessary to bring 'trans women' into it. They have nothing to do with Hefner, Playboy or 2nd wave feminism. This is historical revisionism. It has no more place in this story than Al Jolson does in the story of the fight for racial equality.

The podcast is good, but WHYYY is the narrator/host talking like she is a breathless sex phone operator? I wish she would just talk like a normal woman, and not try to sound "sexy"? Seems ironic, considering the subject matter.
