Welcome to Episode number 1 of The Gozo Podcast. This  Gozo off the coast of Malta. (As I believe there are more than one on the World :-) ) A World Heritage site and a melting pot of cultures make up this wonderful small Mediterranean Island.My name is Tony Reed and I will be discussing all things Gozitan. From Tourism History Geology,  and Business to casual chats with the tourists (if we can find any after the Covid Crisis :-) the ex-pat community, plus last and definitely not least the local population.  We will try to keep politics and religion out of the podcast but it is inevitable that they may crop up on occasions. In this episode, I talk to Frankie Magro who has been in the Tourism Business since the late 1970s and he lets us into some not so well know facts about Gozo.
