Hey Nacho Experts! Molls wanted to share a special treat with you all today - she recently joined host of The Smush Room friend Troy McEady to chat about Brittany Murphy & Ashton Kutcher! They revisit the two meeting for the first time on the set of their critically panned film, Just Married and the “engagement” that soon followed.  They also examine this particularly interesting time in Ashton’s career, four years into That 70’s Show and one year prior to starring in and producing the pop culture phenomenon that was Punked on MTV.  MMISWP will be back next week with a new episode! In the meantime, head over to Patreon to learn more about our bonus episodes, our exclusive show Twelve Months of Christmas, and more!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information. Happy Sunday, Nacho Experts! This week, we have the last piece of the "Troy sandwich" for the final chapter of the Brittany Murphy trilogy on The Smush Room. Molls and Troy peel back the layers on her very complicated and questionable marriage to the notable Svengali, Simon Monjack. They start by examining what the press refer to as the “straight to video” era of her career and the introduction of Simon in her life (who she’d known since she was a teenager) as a romantic figure. They also discuss the details of both Brittany and Simon’s mysterious deaths, which were just five months apart. MMISWP will be back next week with a new episode! In the meantime, head over to Patreon to learn more about our bonus episodes, our exclusive show Twelve Months of Christmas (episode 7 just dropped!), and much more! As a special treat to all of our listeners, Molls invites her good, good friend Max Wyeth (that's right, from our Season 2 TSLLAA Winner Suburban Madness) back to discuss An Amish Murder, starring cinema queen Neve Campbell. This was originally a Patreon only bonus episode, but we decided to share it with you before Season 4 officially wraps! They chat about their love for Neve and her earlier work, a family connection within the cast, Amish vibes, and much more. You're the reason we can make this show, babe! Please keep spreading the word by sharing on social media (@mmiswp on Twitterand Instagram), rating/reviewing on Apple Podcasts, and join the Nacho Experts in our Facebook Group. Calling all Nacho Experts! This is a clip from a fascinating brand new podcast - the story of the rise and fall of the Steinbergs, once one of the richest families in America, through the eyes of the fashion designer Liz Lange. Liz is the niece of the infamous corporate raider Saul Steinberg, who amassed a fortune before he was thirty, and brought his entire tight-knit family along for the ride. We think you'll love it! “I was so hungry transcribing this movie.” Molly and her guest Alison Rosen step back into the '90s and watch A Secret Between Friends: A Moment of Truth Movie. You can find this one on YouTube, but don’t read the IMBD description if you don’t want a spoiler! With its star-studded cast (Lynda Carter, Josh Taylor, and hello, a young Ryan Reynolds!), typical teen shopping montage, and a BFF journey that toes the line between friendship and infatuation, this flick is definitely filed under the classic Lifetime movie category. Not only did we get to see Rob Lowe play the completely creepy Drew Peterson, we also were blessed with a younger Kaley Cuoco as Stacy Peterson, Drew’s 4th wife. The pair discuss the murder mystery/love story that takes place in Lunacy, Alaska - everything from the top-notch casting decisions (this is, after all, the film that brought together LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian) and the amazing graphic effects to the dramatics that can only happen in a small, remote town. This flick has everything you loved from the 90s - a fantastic soundtrack, classic college parties, and a cast including famous teen idols (namely Candace Cameron Bure, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Jenna von Oÿ, and Nikki Cox). Tune into hear why this film is in the lead for the “Tori Spelling Lifetime Lifetime Achievement Award” and for a nice “where are they now” moment. "I didn't see any coke in this movie." This week, Molls and her friend Jason Shapiro take a walk down memory lane while they discuss this unauthorized behind-the-scenes Lifetime story of the show we all loved as kids - Full House. This movie presents many questions, some revolving around possible Sliding Door moments: when Bob Saget was cast as Danny Tanner instead of someone else, if the show got canceled early on, and if John Stamos really told Candace Cameron Bure to go toward the Christian life if she felt so inclined. How different would our lives be had these moments not happened? Listen to find out what the pair think about these questions and where the film lands on the MMISWP Rating Scale. Don't forget to subscribe on iTunes and if you're really digging our pod, be sure to leave a 5-star rating and review to help us keep sharing the Lifetime Move love!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information. "They're selling burner phones at Home Depot." This week, Molls is joined by her friend and actor/writer/director Ryan Bailey to discuss the true crime Lifetime Original thriller, The Craigslist Killer. "His tiny eyebrows have been put in tiny eyebrow jail." We're back, baby! Molls and Ronnie Karam (yes, the same Ronnie who graced us with his presence on Episode 1) get back in the swing of things by jumping right into His Secret Family, starring Haylie Duff. The pair discuss the excellent detective skills of Sarah Goodman, the amazing acting by the cast members playing doctors/medical professionals, and how crazy-easy it was to obtain confidential information from various companies. Join them for some LOLs and to hear where this one landed on our scale. Molls is joined by best-selling author and beloved host of Sexy Unique Podcast and Babe?, Lara Marie Schoenhals, to discuss She's Too Young, a stellar flick about a syphilis outbreak among a (pretty sizable) group of high schoolers. Molls and Lara share LOLs during their chat about the out-of-control sexual happenings of these young teens and the strong presence of Cheese Curls throughout the film. The gals also swap some stories of their own while dissecting this Lifetime Original gem. "This movie was sponsored by blouses." Molls and guest Alie Ward (1/2 of Cooking Channel duo Alie & Georgia), in a post-election haze, dissect the (loosely) based on a true crime thriller Death Clique. This week's ride is wild, so saddle up: hear Alie's reason for comparing teenage girls to cephalopods, the cast's hair care situation, and how the girls feel about a surprise cuddle during a slumber party. Tune into to listen to the stereotypes surrounding 90s fashion, who they believe is the real victim of the film (and who gives a real Lala from Vanderpump Rules vibe), the delicious drama from IMDB message boards, and to see where this landed on our movie scale. girl NOOO not the sympathy with Dylan klebolds mom, she has absolutely rancid vibes. as a mom victim I think she touched her son. he wouldn't have shot people that welcomed him if his wires weren't severely crossed. I also believe she taught him racism and ignored the warning signs and now she's getting rich off her own abuse.

I'm so in love with this podcast!! I happened to stumble upon it and every episode is an adventure. I'm the maniac you see laughing walking down the street or in a car. Although I watch the movies at some point, you absolutely do not have to watch them to enjoy. This podcast is actually more enjoyable having not seen the movies. I love it! Thanks Molly and Steven!
