Description

"I think my head's about to explode" is what I say to myself when something too grotesque, absurd, horrible, or insanely hypocritical is happening - and I think it's how many of us feel when witnessing injustice.

In my podcast, to deconstruct that feeling, I talk about interconnected systems of oppression. Militarism, imperialism, colonialism, and several other -isms are inevitably there.

My political commentary has been about Palestine since the beginning and is mostly on Gaza these days.

In my episode, I share a quote I saw many years ago on the apartheid wall in Bethlehem. It's a quote that has stuck with me ever since. It's also what I have been thinking a lot about in the past years and especially in the past days, as the third anniversary of the Gaza genocide approaches. It might resonate. Ideally, it will also be a reminder you might need today.#Gaza #GazaGenocide #Palestine #FreePalestine
Luca Steinmann is an independent journalist, war reporter, political analyst, and author. He was also one of the few Western journalists reporting from the Russian-controlled areas of Ukraine.I met with Luca to ask for his perspective on how wars are reported, what is being missed, the role of diplomacy, what it means to consume media critically, and the importance of calling out hypocrisy in politics. Please enjoy our long-format interview.Follow Luca's work here:- Instagram: @lucasteinmann2- Twitter/X: @luca_steinmann1Find all of my work on my website:www.justinaposkeviciute.com#independentmedia #independentjournalism #warreporting #Palestine #ukrainewar #antiwar
We already know what Aaron Bushnell said — “This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal” — and how it looks. We can see with our own eyes what our own governments have normalised. As I open the seventh season of my project, I invite you to keep your rage and to actively point out how a genocide and the support for a genocidal ethnostate are not normal.
Israeli settler violence has always been state violence: because you don't send your army to protect just anyone. In addition to this violence being on the rise for at least three years now, see how this violence has exploded (even more) in the past few days.#Israel #Palestine #FreePalestine #WestBank #Nablus #settlerviolence
We live in strange times - because we live in the world with an Israel in it.Here, in 2026, notice how an open declaration to be against the mass murder of children makes some people uncomfortable. And, at the same time, see what kind of admission that discomfort shows.
