Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 6 Translation:“It’s all a matter of distance. Crowds that just made us think of churches collapse into crowds. I am not afraid of heights and the evening is already clouding my eyes. Our will is greater than our ability, it is said, no one knew that better than the moon.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 5 Translation:“Although there’s no fish living in the sea anymore, the fisher would still sailing out the sea on the full moon day. I’m allowed to accompany him sometimes. He was once a captain at the marine, “four stars on each shoulders, if you know, what I mean.” He knows every tides between here to Africa, every sea foam, every sea stars. We sail to the position, where we can best catch the moonlight with our catcher. If a bucket is full, that’ll be enough, so we’ll be sailing back around 7 with our bag and we then are able to tell the story.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 4 Translation:“At night, I brought my goose to the lake. We saw the birds that flying quietly in circles across the dock, the moon and the quiet lake. What should I be thinking in front of such sight? It’s getting dark soon, and those stars that had lighten up the darkness of my midnight will not be shining anymore.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 3 Translation:” The moon always blocks our way down to the lake. Crickets cheering, dragging the memories out of the bush, ducks building their nests under the tranquil atmosphere. On such days the silence would be waiting in the lake, ready to rush us.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 2 Translation: “Even though the moon was connected to us through an insuperable fate, there’s nothing he could do to help us. He has no biological value. Surrounded by his stars, he is the ideal of immutability: a cold king in a wired kingdom. Crater mountains, the ground perforated like a sieve. From its height, life becomes a little less important, says those who come home in his light, dry-footed, because he draws water from the earth.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
Poetry: No one knows better than the moon 1/21 Translation: “Some poets are sitting in front of the desk looking for rhythms for the night, if they’ve found one, it’d be considered done. We, on the other hand, are taking the boat out on the lake and let the sky do the composition.” Author: Michael Krüger Powered by Firstory Hosting
