My grandmother's brother, Zoltan, is the key to understanding her past. Zoltan's wartime journals reveal both the horrors of the Holocaust as well as his ambition- he is a visionary. W.H. Auden, Orson Welles and Doc Edgerton also weigh in.
We examine the inner workings of the post office during 1930s and 40s Hungary. Why Isabelle kept her secrets is revealed. Khrushchev examines a light bulb.
The youngest sibling's (Olga) story is revealed and it answers a big question about Isabelle and Zoltan's past. The history of US immigration policy is examined, as is US involvement in WWII. Enid dances.
Enid and Vicki travel to the National Archive in London to corroborate their findings. So much more is revealed.
