Description
For Such A Voice is a Christian podcast for young adults navigating faith, mental health, identity, purpose and real life. Born from quiet moments and journal pages, it creates space for honest conversations about becoming, adulthood and faith in everyday life. Each episode is reflective, sometimes raw and always grounded, reminding you that your voice matters exactly where you are. Not when life is perfect. But now.
You were made for such a time.
And yes, for such a voice.
You were made for such a time.
And yes, for such a voice.

After a quiet season, I’m back with a gentle check in. In this episode, I reflect on losing my words, the silence that followed, and the grace of finding my voice again without pressure or performance. It’s a reminder that faith can still be real when it feels muted, and that your voice matters right where you are.
Two letters. One full of quiet hope, the other written with a trembling hand. In this episode, I read them both pausing to breathe, to feel, to listen. To God. To my therapist. To the parts of me I almost left behind. It’s tender. It’s honest. And maybe, a little like your story too.
I went quiet. Not because I had nothing to say but because I didn’t know how to say it. This episode is raw. It’s not polished. If you’ve ever lost your voice somewhere between the noise and the numbness… this one's for you.
Abandonment issues often grow from a deep fear of being left or forgotten. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety. Sometimes it feels like a full-blown phobia. In this episode, we explore how those fears take shape through the three insecure attachment styles, avoidant, anxious, and disorganized. Through honest reflection and shared experience, we’ll unpack how these patterns quietly shape the way we love, trust, and connect. If you’re looking to dig deeper, here’s a helpful article reviewed by Timothy J. Legg, Ph.D., CRNP and written by Jayne Leonard: What to know about abandonment issues
In today's episode, I am going to be talking about reaching the point of burnout, trying to figure out my self worth and being vulnerable with myself and with others.
I am not a professional, so you should always take everything I say with a pinch of salt. All I hope is that listening to this can motivate you to go and do some research for yourself, to ask professionals, and know that you are not alone.

I regret a lot of things in my life but on top of my long list of regrets, is not having the chance to talk things through with my dad while he was still alive. I wish I could have told him how much I loved him and apologize for resenting him and low-key hating him.
And because He is gone now, I decided to write him a letter, telling him what is on my mind. I know he probably won't hear this or read this because he is dead but I hope that it can bring some healing to someone else. I hope there is someone out there who will hear this and find peace.
