Tehseen Mariam Dossul graduated from Agnes Scott in 2011. She speaks Urdu, Hindi, English, German and is currently learning French. After studying at Agnes Scott and in Germany, Tehseen is currently a manager at Amboss, a medical technology company with offices in New York City, Berlin, and Cologne, Germany.Nga Than graduated from Agnes Scott in 2013. She studied mathematics, economics, and history and spent a year in Germany researching the Vietnamese expatriate community. Nga Than is currently pursuing a PhD in Sociology at the Graduate Center of CUNY. Nga Than speaks Chinese, Vietnamese, and German.Hannah Brendell (panel moderator for the podcast) will graduate from Agnes Scott College in May of 2021. Hannah's major is International Relations and she is fluent in multiple languages. Mental health experts recently shared insight on the possible long-term effects of COVID-19 once the pandemic is over. This episode is the third of a four-part series created by The Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion at Agnes Scott College. Featured panelists include: Joëlle Atere-Roberts  ’14, social epidemiologist at the UNC Carolina Population Center; Janelle Peifer, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at Agnes Scott; and Tomiko Jenkins, LCSW, senior associate dean of students at Agnes Scott. The discussion was moderator:Sam Levan ’22, a psychology major and an art and theatre minor at Agnes Scott.

The Agnes Scott College’s Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion hosted its first of four webinars highlighting issues of inequities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar featured:Regine O. Jackson, Kathy ’68 and Lawrence Ashe Associate Professor of Sociology and chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Agnes Scott,Yehimi Cambrón ’14. Undocumented artist, activist, and public speaker They underscored matters from the social and cultural consequences of the pandemic to stereotypes in the immigrant community.
