What motivates you most to give? Here in the Bay Area we live in one of the wealthiest regions in the world and yet we are among the least motivated to give. Why are we so greedy? And what will it take for us to become more generous givers?
Are you tired from working and weighed down by heavy burdens? If so, you’re not alone. We live in one of the most workaholic cultures in human history. What is driving us to over perform? And how can we find true rest in the midst of working?
Often tensions become the source of mental and emotional strain, leaving us frustrated, discouraged, and anxious. It is our human tendency to want to avoid them or even resolve them, but sometimes the gospel calls us to embrace them so that we might look more like Christ.
