Buffalo In The Storm

Buffalo In The Storm

Back from the archives by request! This is a great meditation to increase strength and centeredness. Animal imagery is some of my personal mind-shifting favorite journeys. Feel the strength of the buffalo so you can better weather every storm.
Move and meditate. Walk and chill. All you need is 4-5 feet of space in one direction. Listen for some "twists" that you can use to meditate while getting more exercise indoors too - if you choose. Thank you listener Leslie for your "walking meditation" request. This time we are staying inside. But next time we might take it outdoors. (Socially responsibly distancing of course!) While meditations are not a substitute for medical help when we are suffering from depression, practices like this one can support your biochemistry in healing. How you think affects how you feel, which affects your biochemistry. Practicing shifting out of the patterns of thoughts and feelings that cause you to feel bad can really help minimize that downward spiral. This is one of my favorite "go to" practices for creating a deep sense of serenity. Bonus is once you know how to "get there" it begins to become NATURAL to go there in a few breaths anytime you need. Of course for an even deeper experience you can always come back and listen to this guided meditation in it's entirety again. Enjoy the deep mind relaxation in this guided meditation.

Wonderful meditation for someone who suffers with chronic pain. I truly appreciated this episode this morning as my body was not cooperating with me as well as I would like it too. This helped to start my day with a better mindset. Thank you.

This was the perfect meditation for me today as I have been struggling with someone who is very negative and has caused me and my family a great deal of pain. Everytime I think she is gone for good she somehow reinsert herself. I will be saving this meditation to listen when I feel overwhelmed or stressed. After listening I feel this morning, I feel as if I can face the day without fear or that overwhelming stress that has been getting to me for the past couple of days. Thank you
