When Cultivate Legacy began in 2020 there were hopes, dreams, visions, and anticipation for how God would use the online community to encourage, equip, and empower his daughters to build impact and legacy in their lives as they glorified Him and served others. That journey has been one of connection with so many of you, which has been the greatest gift. And as we close this chapter in the journey of impact and legacy, it is with deep gratitude that I say thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for encouraging. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your attention. Thank you for your feedback. Thank you for being in this with me. Thank you for showing me how many women out there also deeply desire to honor the Lord in every area of their lives. While this content is ending, my prayer is that you would continue to find encouragement and inspiration over on the Cultivate Legacy Instagram page.  https://www.instagram.com/cultivate_legacy/I look forward to connecting with you there!
Restlessness often leads to release, which can be followed by pictures of God's faithfulness and the puzzle pieces of your life making more sense as you walk in a long obedience towards him. This is exactly what happened in my own story after I listened to God's leading to lay down a mission very dear to my heart. In this episode you will hear about God' faithfulness, trustworthiness, and sovereignty in the midst of unknown.
Sometimes restlessness leads to God opening doors and asking us to obey in unexpected ways. In this episode you will hear more of what that might look like as you walk in obedience to God and continue loving others abundantly.
Have you ever have felt restless and just couldn't put your finger on exactly why? Maybe it's in your work, your home life, your relationships, or maybe you don't even know why yet. And that's okay, you aren't alone. Sometimes restless seasons are exactly what the Lord wants for us to be able to do some reflective, prayerful, waiting with him and that's what this episode is designed to help you do. There are six questions included that may help you gain some clarity on why you're feeling restless. 1. What am I feeling restless about? Is there a particular area in my life that is feeling extra tense? 2. If the current situation in that area were different (more ideal), would you still feel the same way?3. Is it from a lack of opportunity or a fear of moving forward?4. If time and money wasn’t a concern, what would I do right now and forever until my time on earth is done. (If you don’t know the answer to this question, I would suggest reading, “Restless”, by Jennie Allen)5. If God asked you to step away from that area and put your energy elsewhere, would you be okay with it?6. Am I making decisions right now based in truth or based on how I feel?
If you've ever wondered how to help your children sleep better or how to help them stay in their beds, this episode could help! You've heard it, right? "Motherhood is the highest and best calling". You've probably it heard from women around you and certainly if you're involved in a church, you've probably heard it there too. But is it true???This episode explores the concept of calling, highest calling, vocation, sacred vs. secular, and whether or not we all have the same calling as Daughters of the King. Hold onto your hat for this one, friend, it gets a little spicy!
If you're in the messy middle of motherhood, or any area of life, then this episode is for you. The good news is you can build legacy right in the middle of the mess and look forward to the seeds you are planting today becoming a harvest in the future. In this episode you will be encouraged and challenged to see the impact you're making today as the stepping stones to legacy no matter how messy it might look.
It's been three whole seasons of this podcast and that deserves a celebration and some reflection too. In this episode, Shelley walks back through all God has done and looks to the future for how he will continue guiding in the content shared here.
