In this episode, I’m speaking on how the documentary, “Keep This Between Us,” which follows a young woman who had a relationship with her high school teacher, triggered memories and similarities, involving manipulation and wanting to feel protected by your partner. We all should know by now that secret relationships, although they sound good, never really benefit anyone.
Y’all remember when men used to have a rebuttal for women and say, “Y’all were in a polyamorous relationship; You didn’t know it, though.” And many women replied, “Bet.” That whole concept defeats the purpose of the word poly—honesty is involved.
And not only did women learn to date multiple men, multiple genders became involved for some.
What we allow & tolerate all comes down to one thing: self-respect. In this episode, DQ talks about how to avoid losing your own self-respect due to temporary feelings, thought, or emotions
In this episode, DQ takes a real look into what type of person she’s looking for. The experiences we’ve had in the past shape our future in terms of relationships. Being honest with yourself about what you are really looking for, could save you some gas during detours.

As a single parent, Rules R’ Us, which means that most aspects of my time include some type of rules. These rules have actually been put in place as a form of an avoidant attachment style, in order to deter later disappointment and you guessed it—detours.
For people like DQ, the past has affected the future in terms of jobs and the need to be financially autonomous. Unlearning loyalty to everything else but yourself can be difficult. If you get the opportunity to take a chance on yourself, take it or it just may cause a decade-long detour.

DQ has been taking a new look into mental health and how her job, not career, has caused most of the mental health issues involving low self-worth. One good thing we can take away from the workforce now, is that you should choose your mental health over a job that does not value you.
Domestic violence is a serious offense that often and gradually gets worse over time. Due to past behaviors of the back and forth nature that often goes along with domestic violence, there are times when women are not believed, especially after they've called the police on the same person but then reunite in a toxic pattern. Whatever the case, domestic violence is not okay, nor is it cute.
In this episode, DQ will discuss the teetering relationship when it comes to sneaky links and dating in general. Things can get a bit complicated but always hilarious with this.
Okay, so high school wasn't that long ago but it's been long enough. Come take a ride with DQ as she discusses a few of the many high school situations and where the detours actually began.
DQ may be ready to peek over her brick wall to try the dating scene again after making a disclaimer asking M&M's to stay out of her inbox on dating profiles.
