Andrei Nastasa is a new artist who deserves the attention of electronic and new age music fans. Especially those who love the work of Vangelis will find familiar harmonies and sounds in his compositions. This influence is no coincidence, as Andrei is one of the lucky few to have been in Vangelis' entourage and benefited directly from the occasional guidance offered by the Greek master. I have chosen to publish this episode today, when Vangelis would have turned 81, as a motive for celebration and gratitude. Although Vangelis's influence is assumed, Andrei integrated it into a more personal musical language, seeking self-definition and refinement, a path currently embodied in two albums. After Edgar Froese’s death in 2015, the group consists of Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane, and Paul Frick.
