Hey Grounded and Growing fam, its your host Jess! Although this was not planned, I have decided to take a temporary break from podcasting. This decision was definitely not easy but as someone who practices what they preach, I get to honor myself and what I feel at this time and give myself the time and space to rest and reset. If you have any questions about the podcast or coaching opportunities, you can reach me at groundedandgrowingpodcast@gmail.com Thank you all so much and I will see you all very soon!
*Trigger Warning*: Some topics in this episode include mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. As you can see from the title, today's episode is going to be all about healing, which I believe is something that is a never ending on going process that allows you to reach new heights mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. To help me deliver this message I am so honored to have the amazing Chelsea Cora from Austin, Texas, who also hosts her own podcast, The Soulful Self Podcast.    Chelsea Cora is an intuitive healer, podcaster, speaker, and Divine messenger. In 2018, she had a spiritual awakening that led her to leave behind toxic relationships, alcoholism, a myriad of negative mindset/behavior patterns, and eventually her job as a stripper. She is passionate about helping people transform their lives from the inside out and awaken to the limitless reality that is available to us as spiritual beings.   In this episode, Chelsea and I share how to begin your healing journey, some things to be aware of and to expect during this process and other tips that have supported us during our own journeys.   To learn more about Chelsea, her journey and her intuitive healing you can visit her website: https://www.chelseacora.com/, follow her on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/iamchelseacora/ or tune in to The Soulful Self Podcast:  https://www.buzzsprout.com/1398247 If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know! Between the holidays and end of the year jitters, I know it can be super easy to let your foot off the gas and ultimately lose sight of what you’re working towards   This time of the year is something referred to in business as “separation season” which by the name is pretty self explanatory.  This is the time of the year when most people check out and say “can’t wait for the new year so that i can start building all these great habits and set some goals, new year's resolutions” and so on and so forth.   Meanwhile, other people understand that in order to set yourself up for a successful new year, building those habits and setting those goals starts now! And that is what this episode is all about!    Tune in to learn about how you can start setting yourself up to have the most successful year for yourself and your business!   To learn more about coaching opportunities to work with Jessica, visit https://calendly.com/jessicabennett/consultation-call to book a call, https://form.jotform.com/212916361030041 to submit an application, or visit the link in bio @groundedandgrowingpodcast on Instagram    If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know! Hello Grounded and Growing community!   What was on my heart to share for this week's episode is something I believe one can never get enough of, which is improving the relationship we have with ourselves!    I believe that if you want to change the world around you, it starts by changing the world within you, so for today’s episode, I will be sharing 3 ways to grow your confidence, trust and love for yourself!     Especially now more than ever, our society craves so much from outside sources such as love, acceptance, forgiveness etc when really all of those feelings should come from within. So in this episode I share my favorite ways to be able to do just that! With the end of the calendar year coming up, holidays, traveling and lots of fun festivities are going to be filling up our calendars! While I am excited to be able to celebrate another holiday season, as I’m sure you all are too, I also know that this is a time when a lot of people tend to lose sight of their goals whether it be in business, health and fitness or just life in general.    This time of the year is recognized by most entrepreneurs as “seperation season” because while most people are checking out mentally, the doers and action takers understand that making use of this time to set themselves up for a successful new year is crucial! It’s like that saying, “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready!”   So for today’s episode, I am featuring Hannah Celerin who is a beauty boss and VA from Tampa, Florida who is one of the hungriest entrepreneurs I know at the moment! Her drive to grow herself and her business has inspired me so much while working with her and I just had to share her growth with the world!   Hannah is someone who heavily believes in investing in yourself in order to get to your next level, and I can say that is one of the many things we have in common.   Listen in to hear her transformational story of being part of the Mindset to Manifest program and to see how you can create results just like hers!   To learn more about coaching opportunities to work with Jessica, visit https://calendly.com/jessicabennett/consultation-call to book a call, https://form.jotform.com/212916361030041 to submit an application, or visit the link in bio @groundedandgrowingpodcast on Instagram
For today’s episode, mindset and growth coach (and host of the show) Jessica Bennett shares her take on toxic positivity. This is a topic that has been talked about more and more, especially recently, so Jessica wanted to add to the conversation as well.   In this episode you will learn the definition of toxic positivity, hear some examples of what it can look like in your life, some of the impacts it can have and how you can become aware of it and ultimately avoid doing it.   This is a great episode for anyone who is working on personal development because it shares great insight on how positivity can not always be the answer and offers more productive solutions in lieu of just being positive all the time.    If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know! In today’s episode we are featuring Ansley Fender, founder and CEO of Atlas Solutions. Ansley went from being homeless as a teenager, to finding out she was on the Autism spectrum as an adult as well as discovering that she has ADD and Asperger's. Despite all of that, she became a mother and a successful entrepreneur. Her company, Atlas Solutions, is a grant management platform based in Indiana, and in this episode, she shares a lot of really helpful information on grants and how small businesses and especially minority and women owned companies can capitalize on these resources and opportunities.   Along with the useful information about grants, we also talk a lot about what it’s like for her (and apparently me, your host) to be an entrepreneur with ADD. This episode was so much fun to record and when you listen in, you’ll see why!    Overall, Ansley’s story is a beautiful reminder of how your life’s circumstances don’t have to define your life! I hope this interview inspires you to be able to go after your dreams and create whatever you desire, regardless of what your situation is.    If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know! Today’s episode brings a powerful message from the Grounded and Growing Podcast’s host Jessica Bennett covering different aspects of what it's like to be on the journey of reuniting with your authentic self. Growth and healing is something that everyone can benefit from, but not everyone chooses or realizes that they want or need. Being on this path of personal development is one that doesn't come with instructions and is not something most people have ever done before, and that’s why it is so important to have a source of guidance and support along this journey. This is one of the main reasons for Jessica’s pursuit as a mindset and growth coach which she speaks about in this episode.   If you are looking for inspiration on your own growth and healing journey this is a great episode to dive into!    If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know! I am excited to share that in celebration of Filipino-American History month, the guest we will be featuring on this episode is a female entrepreneur from the Philippines! ⠀ Belay Fernando started out in the sports industry, worked her way up and is now the head of the Philippine Futbol Federation for women. She is also an entrepreneur, running a cleaning business and co author of the book “Winning Still” which is a book written by different athletes and coaches in the Philippines that talks about how each of them overcame the adversities that the pandemic brought on.    Belay has paved the way for women in the sports industry in the Philippines and has shattered glass ceilings by becoming the head of the women’s national team for soccer and defied the odds after being diagnosed with cancer. ⠀ ⠀ She truly has one of the most inspirational and humbling stories I have ever heard and I cannot wait for you all to hear it as well!   If this conversation was helpful for you, we’d love to know!
