Gender issues have always existed when it comes to the workforce - whether its the wage gap, earnings gap childcare access, and yes, its 2021 but discrimination is still alive and well. We know that quarantine and laptop classrooms posed a mental and physical health struggle for students as they embarked on new ways of learning during the pandemic, and it's no question that the quality of education was impacted. In part 2 of our dive into remote repurcussions, the Workforce Situation Room speaks with educators and parents. As a solutions-based organization, our job is to address issues in the workforce head-on.The ladies of leadership are back and focusing on one of the biggest and most-talked about issues in the Workforce today - the worker shortage. We take a deep dive into the root of the issue and discuss solutions for how employers can change their strategies and business model to adapt to the "new normal" to attract the best talent available to them. 
As a solutions-based organization, our job is to address issues in the workforce head-on. Looking ahead, the Situation Room shares a rising concern of the aftereffects of COVID on education when it comes to the future workforce. How can we begin to address the impact of the pandemic on students and teachers in the year-long shift to distance learning? Rather than begin to propose any solutions we chose first, to listen.
