For many of us, our bodies can become an afterthought. All of our energy spent on racing thoughts, our to-do list, or where we're headed next.
Sometimes, we just need a pause.
Taking the time to listen to the messages our bodies are trying to tell us can lead to a wealth of wisdom. Helping to strengthen that connection between mind and body. Enabling us to process and release emotional tension stored within.
In this episode, certified Yoga teacher Michelle Gallant joins Jennifer Carey for a discussion about the profound link between physical health and mental wellness. Exploring the idea that our issues are in our tissues, and how our bodies will often hold onto stories and emotions from our past.

In this episode, our Jen and co-host, singer/songwriter Shannon Ward talk to Prin, who shares how her brushes with death and multiple stories that were internal and externally projected on her around her mental health journey could have completely bound her, leaving her stuck or dead or living an unlived life. Instead, she chose a path of LIVING by asking for help, receiving the help and then took it and integrated it with writing, singing, playing music and producing music. She shares all of the lessons with us.
CORRECTION: Jen references a quote to be FDR but it's actually Teddy Roosevelt. Our mistake!
At the end we get to hear a wonderful song that came from The CALM Principles - a project that Prin created in 2021 for the 20th anniversary of checking herself into the Psychiatric hospital.
