I liked the Mother Teresa quote. she seemed to understand that we are both rational and irrational. The rational part of her brain is exploiting the irrational part of her brain. She understands that if she looks at the masses she'll be overwhelmed and won't do anything, so she chooses to look at the individual, so that she will do something and do the most good. We need to recognize that we are both rational, and irrational, and work with that. We are human beings, for better and for worse.

I love this show and have been listening for the better part of a decade, having now listened to well over a thousand episodes. I've learned a lot from them about topics that are sometimes relevant, and sometimes just fun and tangential or random. This is one of my main "multitasking podcasts" and makes for a great listen when doing chores or work.

This is a terrible episode! Contradictions through the whole thing. You're trying to say, you think this is in some way a good thing, but not. I'll clear up your confusion. It has always been a very bad, greedy idea! There. All clear. Also, stop throwing America under the bus! "We'll, not here in America, but over in Europe, they're trying to change this." Then, you turn around and say that about 18 states are trying to make laws to change this. Then, what these laws are, are half baked help. You should really just throw this one out. I could hardly stand listening to the whole thing.
