Cashmere is considered an ultra-soft, luxurious, and expensive material, but it’s increasingly common and affordable. More accessible prices don’t mean improved values, though—here’s why cashmere is best avoided by the conscious consumer. By Emma Håkansson at GoodOnYou.eco. Original post: https://goodonyou.eco/material-guide-how-ethical-is-cashmere/    Good on You is the world’s leading source for fashion brand ratings. They’re a group of campaigners, fashion professionals, scientists, writers and developers who care for our planet, people and animals and help drive the whole industry to become more sustainable and fair.  They help us understand we can all play a part in driving fashion to be more sustainable and ethical - by choosing to wear clothes from ethical labels; and by re-wearing, recycling, swapping and thrifting.  How to support the podcast: Share with others.
