This week we have a CBA Member, CJ Sefcovic. CJ is a life long Coloradan with a strong familial hunting history but CJ is still breaking the mold by becoming the first avid bowhunter in his family. Today we sit down with MEATEATER's own Janis Putelis.  Janis grew up hunting deer in Michigan before moving out to Colorado at the young age of 19.  With no hunt guiding aspirations at the time Janis came out to Colorado to do Colorado things (skiing, fishing and enjoying the outdoors).  When he chanced into an opportunity to guide elk hunters in the Flattops he said yes and hasn't looked back since.  On this episode we cover topics ranging from Janis' hunting history to guiding, producing and hosting content for MEATEATER, his passion for gear, balancing life on the go and much more. This week we sit down with Colorado Outfitter Flattops Wilderness Guides, manager Jimmy Oswald and lead guide Evan Koster.  I went up to their property just north of Dotsero Colorado to tour their outfit and have a conversation.  We discuss the history of Flattops Wilderness Guides as well as the personal hunting history of Jimmy and Evan.  We cover some hunting tips for bowhunting, specifically Elk.  The differences between their guided hunts vs their drop camps as well as a brief overview of their entire offerings.
