A deluge of money is streaming into the southwest to incentivize people to save the Colorado River. The long-awaited video game “Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” has gamers talking about their carbon footprint. Then, what are we to do with art we love made by people we don’t? V chats with author and critic Claire Dederer, whose latest book, Monsters: A Fan’s Dilemma, explores our relationship with music, films, and other art in the wake of #MeToo. Can we, and should we, separate the art from the artist? Note: This conversation contains mention of abuse. If you think this will be hard or harmful to listen to, you can turn off the episode after the first commercial break. Follow Claire at @clairedederer on Instagram and Twitter.   Keep up with V on TikTok at @underthedesknews and on Twitter at @VitusSpehar. And stay up to date with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @LemonadaMedia.  Apple Books has teamed up with Lemonada Media for an audiobook club. The May pick, Monsters: A Fan's Dilemma by Claire Dederer, is a highly topical and blisteringly smart examination of whether we can separate artists from their art, asking: what are the responsibilities that come with being a fan? If you like I’m Sorry, we think you’ll LOVE Funny Cuz It’s True with Elyse Myers. In this episode, Mike Birbiglia joins Elyse to talk about his new Broadway show “The Old Man and The Pool,” and how he makes a show about death and mortality funny. Mike gets into his creative process around joke writing, like how he got underneath the meaning behind a joke about his car accident and a drunk driver. Plus, he tells Elyse why he thinks performing comedy is like stripping.   Each week on Funny Cuz It’s True, host Elyse Myers sits down with her favorite creators, friends and comedians to find the stories that have stuck with them and changed their lives in small ways. Not so funny moments that have become funny over time. She wants to know how they handled these situations and learned to laugh about them years later. How do they do it? Great question, I’d love to tell you (but you have to listen to find out).    For more Funny Cuz It’s True, click here: https://link.chtbl.com/funnycuzitstruewithelysemyers.    Please note, this show contains mature themes and may not be appropriate for all listeners.    You can find out more about our show @lemonadamedia on all social platforms, or follow us on Instagram @imsorry_podcast.    Click this link for a list of current sponsors and discount codes for this show and all Lemonada shows: https://lemonadamedia.com/sponsors/    Joining Lemonada Premium is a great way to support our show and get bonus content. The team behind I’m Sorry is so excited to share Raised by Ricki, hosted by Ricki Lake herself alongside TV personality and digital creator Kalen Allen. In this episode, iconic comedian, actress, and musician Margaret Cho joins Ricki and Kalen to talk about sex work, sex positivity, and how society’s views on all things sex have evolved since the 90s. She talks about her time as a phone sex worker, how working at a leather dildo shop kickstarted her LGBTQIA+ advocacy, and her memories of how The Ricki Lake Show handled sex-related topics in the 90s – and what she thinks a Ricki Lake Show episode about sex work would look like today.   In the 1990s, a generation of kids, teens, and young adults got home, kicked off their sneakers, and settled down in front of the TV to watch Ricki Lake. Raised By Ricki revisits the 90s iconic talk show, The Ricki Lake Show, and the era to which it belonged. Part rewatch podcast, part cultural retrospective, and mostly hilarious, join Ricki and Kalen each week along with cultural icons like John Waters, Rosie O’Donnell, and Andy Cohen, past producers, former guests, former audience members and more. Drop your backpack at the door, pop a Hot Pocket in the microwave, and look back on the days where we were all raised by Ricki – and introduce her to a whole new generation today.    For more Raised By Ricki, click here: https://link.chtbl.com/RaisedbyRickiPodcast. I disagree. If you had watch any of the this. Heard did not make a credible case or witness. The evidence that was not allowed in was due to it being hearsay. Blinding trusting Heard is why we got to this point and why Depp as the person who was the victim of DV stood up. Read his Instagram post.

I actually think the vm machine (Bill Murray's) is genius. It's no different than letting your calls go to VM. The Deluge that is todays6world needs buffering! That being said, ty for the episode, my first. Good chat. Watching for the groundhogs in my life. 😉
