In the 1980s, a sitcom about an upper middle-class Black family ruled the television landscape, and America’s #1 Dad was a Black man. We commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Cosby Show with a panel of viewers who grew up with the series. Join us for a discussion about the show's cultural influence, it's impact on how we think about parenting, and Cosby's complicated legacy.
In the second part of our journey into Women's Athletics, we talk to four women who've been impacted by playing sports. We find out about the lessons they've carried into adulthood in a variety of fields, from Track to Women's Football.
In 2024, Women's athletics is projected to earn over a billion dollars in revenue, for the first time. We talk with a panel of experts about America's changing attitude towards women in sports, and find out what the future holds, as the ladies compete for a larger slice of the pie.
