Today we welcome back to the podcast Dan MacLeod. He is an Evangelist and church planter that has ministered around the world. If you want to hear of bit of his story, check out Episode 55. I asked him to come back on to talk to us about his insight surrounding the spirit of fear and how to overcome it. This conversation is sure to be a blessing you and I want to encourage you to share it with others so that they too can overcome fear in their own life. ----------- Takeaways Fear is never of God, and the spirit of fear deceives individuals into believing things about God that are not true. The spirit of fear corrupts our motives, robs us of confidence and ability, and clouds our ability to make good decisions. It is important to focus on God's presence and truth rather than being influenced by circumstances. Perfect love casts out fear, and we can overcome fear by aligning our minds with Scripture and trusting in the Fatherhood of God. Praying through in the Spirit is a powerful tool to overcome fear and experience the provision and peace of God. Fear weaves itself with the circumstances of life, causing torment and stealing peace, joy, and blessings.
