South Sudan - There's a future for our children (part two) by ccpa.eu
In this episode, Anders is in South Sudan chatting with Victoria, Mark, Beraket and Nenant, who are engaged in the start-up of Cross Cultures in Torit and Juba. They talk about how the Open Fun Football schools can build a bridge to school or after-school activities as South Sudan has a 75% of drop-out and 70% of illiteracy due to over 40 years of war.
In this podcast, Anders Levinsen tells his story of how Cross Cultures started and the fundamental ideas behind. Anders takes us back to his childhood in a Danish community football club via UNHCR in Bosnia and northern Iraq and tells how his experiences have fostered the idea to bridge the gap between the humanitarian organisations and the sports organisations, to create a better life.
Safae and Firdaws share a very specific vision. It is the reason they first became friends and it is part of everything they do. From creating a vintage brand to volunteering in Cross Cultures. In this podcast, we shed a light on this vision, talk about being young in Morocco and explore new ideas for Cross Cultures and Safae and Firdaws.
Sofien Zárraá is a voluntary youth coach in Tunisia, and for him hardly anything is more important than being a good coach, but sadly the road to becoming a part of Cross Cultures started with a painful injury. In this podcast, Sofien tells his story and his reflections upon voluntarism and safeguarding children in sports after a week of activities in Denmark.
