In this episode, I share how I reinvented my podcasting process to make it as efficient as possible. I used to rely on an employee to handle everything, but now Iāve found tools that allow me to record, transcribe, edit, and publish a podcast all from my phone in less than 10 minutes. From using the Dolby On app for recording to Happy Scribe for transcription and ChatGPT for polishing the content, Iāve streamlined everything. I can even merge my intro and outro with the audio before uploading it to Spotify for Podcasters.
If youāre thinking about starting a podcast, this episode is for you. I break down exactly how you can use free tools to get your podcast up and running with minimal effort. With this system, thereās no excuse not to start building your community and sharing your insights with the world.
Transcription:
Hello, everybody! Iām pretty excited today because Iāve had to reinvent my entire podcasting process. Iāve been talking to a lot of people who want to start their own podcasts, and I realized that I could share some insights on how you can do everything from your phoneāwithout any additional effort. Right now, Iām in my car recording this episode. I never use a studio or controlled environment to record because I simply donāt have the time. I typically record podcasts while Iām driving to an event or meeting. Until recently, I had someone on my team who took care of everythingāsummaries, publishing, schedulingābut when she left, I had to figure out how to manage it all myself.
That led me to spend some time finding tools to make the process as efficient as possible. I wanted a system where I could go from recording to publishing a podcast in just 10 minutes. So, hereās the process I came up with: First, I use an app called Dolby On to record. Itās a free tool that lets me record audio, add noise reduction, and even apply mastering to improve the sound quality. Once I have the recording, I upload it to a transcription tool like Happy Scribe. There are free options that give you a few transcriptions per day, so itās perfect for my needs. After that, I use ChatGPT to polish the transcription, correct any grammar mistakes, and remove unnecessary elements like timestamps.
The next step is creating a two-paragraph summary and a teaser for social media, which ChatGPT also helps me with. Once I have the text ready, I use another app to merge the audio with my pre-recorded intro and outro. From there, I upload everything to Spotify for Podcasters, schedule the episode, and thatās it! The whole process takes less than 10 minutes, and I can do it all from my phone.
I used to have an employee handle this for me, but now Iāve automated the process. If youāve been thinking about starting a podcast, thereās no excuse anymore. With all the free tools available, you can easily set up your podcast and start building a community. Iāve recorded over 260 episodes of Sweet Buzz in the past two or three years, and I can tell you, itās worth it. Give it a try!
In this episode, I share my key takeaways from a conference in Armenia focused on AI in the consultancy world. What stood out the most was the discussion on AI digital employeesāAI thatās no longer just a productivity tool like ChatGPT but is taking on actual employee roles with access to emails, reports, and even customer service. During the conference, I saw a live demo where an AI receptionist handled a full conversation and booked a reservation, which shows how far AI has already come.
Beyond that, we explored the idea of AI in leadershipāhow AI could eventually manage teams or even run companies. As I pursue my PhD in leadership and behavioral management, Iām excited to see if AI can lead a startup. This episode is all about looking at how AI is moving beyond basic tasks and getting ready to disrupt leadership as we know it.
Transcript:
Hello, everybody, howās it going? I just returned from a trip to Yerevan, Armenia, and I had some really interesting impressions from the conference I attended. The conference was focused on AI and the consultancy world, and while I shared my insights on AI, I was blown away by some of the other speakers and what they had to say. The discussions werenāt just about how AI will evolve in 20 to 30 yearsāthatās just speculative. What really caught my attention were the insights on whatās happening with AI right now, and let me tell you, it was eye-opening.
Today, I want to talk about the three levels of AI involvement in business that were discussed at the conference, and it got me thinking about how AI is changing leadership, especially with what Iām focusing on in my PhD. Right now, the first level of AI involvement is pretty commonāweāre all using AI tools like ChatGPT to be more productive. I use it myself for everything from content writing to data analytics. AI as a tool is a huge productivity booster, and this is where most businesses are right now.
The second level is where things get really interesting: AI as a digital employee. Weāre not talking about ChatGPT just spitting out text based on a prompt anymore. AI is now becoming an actual employee. It has access to email, LinkedIn, the internet, reporting systemsāitās doing real tasks that a human would typically do. I was skeptical at first, but then one of the speakers at the conference did a live demo where he called a restaurant that uses an AI receptionist. The AI picked up, handled the reservation, discussed menu options, and had a full human-like conversation. Thatās no longer theoreticalāthatās happening now.
The third level that blew my mind is the potential for AI to take on leadership roles. This is still in the future, but weāre not far off from AI assisting with decision-making, strategic planning, and even team management. As I explore leadership and behavioral management in my PhD, Iām starting to wonder if AI could fully run a startup. What if we start a new company, let an AI handle the hiring and day-to-day operations, and see what happens? Iām convinced it would work, and even more, I think young professionals might prefer to be managed by AI over humans, as AI provides transparent and unbiased management.
This isnāt a sci-fi movie plotāitās the future of business. With AI digital employees and potential AI leadership, companies can scale faster than ever before. Imagine running multiple businesses with AI CEOs working 24/7, no holidays, no breaks, just pure productivity. This is where weāre heading, and Iām excited to dive deeper into this through my doctoral research.
In this episode, I continue discussing the lecture Iām preparing for the Faculty of Economics. After sharing the idea of documenting, not creating content, I move on to the second big point: content repurposing. The idea is simple: when you create content, make sure you can recycle and reuse it across different formats and platforms. I explain how you can take a video series and repurpose it into social media clips, podcasts, blog posts, eBooks, and even a full book.
Repurposing content unlocks new audiences and platforms, helping you get the most out of your efforts. I share real examples of how Iāve done this myself, creating months of content from a single event or video series. This strategy not only saves time but also amplifies your reach. Iām excited to share this approach with the students, and I think it will be a game-changer for anyone trying to maximize their content.
Transcription:
Hello, everybody, itās me again! Continuing with the second part of my lecture preparation for the Faculty of Economics. In the previous episode, I talked about documenting, not creating as a content strategy, but whatās point number two? Itās all about content repurposing. If youāre creating content that you canāt recycle or reuse, then youāre doing it wrong. Content should be long-term, and repurposing it is key to getting more out of what youāve already made.
Think about it. You have a topicāwhether itās how to lose weight, how to win at sales, or how to become a financial accountant. Now, identify the five or seven key things that people need to know about that topic. Letās take my B2B outreach process as an example: I have six core steps that I could break down into a limited video series. The first video could be an introduction, followed by one video for each step. All of a sudden, you have a complete six-part video series.
Once you have that video series, thereās so much you can do with it. You can upload it to YouTube, share the links on social media, or take excerpts to create reels for TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. If you have three hours of video content, you can easily repurpose that into so many different formats. But why stop there? You can extract the audio and turn it into a podcast series, reaching people who prefer listening over watching. Now youāre on platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Play.
Next step? Transcribe the podcast and create blog posts. A 30-minute conversation can easily give you thousands of words, and those can be broken down into multiple blog posts. One topic could lead to three or five subtopics, and boomāyouāve got 25 blog posts from a single piece of content. These blog posts can be shared on your website, LinkedIn, or even Medium to attract a different audience. But why stop there? Merge these blog posts into a small eBook or even combine several eBooks into a full-fledged book.
This is the magic of content repurposing. By starting with a single video series, youāve now expanded to podcasts, blog posts, eBooks, and social media content. All of a sudden, youāve unlocked new platforms, reached new audiences, and maximized the impact of your content. Iāve done this myself, generating months of content from a single event like a summit. From announcing the speakers to sharing the event itself, the content keeps flowing for months afterward.
So, thatās the second lesson Iāll be sharing with the students: content repurposing. Figure out the main strategy behind your content, and then use social media to spread it across different platforms. Itās a strategy that works for both companies and individuals, and itās something I think will be incredibly useful for students. Wish me luck!
In this episode, Iām on my way to give a guest lecture at the Faculty of Economics, and Iām using this time to share my key lesson with youādocument, donāt create. Iāve been thinking a lot about how people approach social media, and I realized that instead of constantly trying to create fresh content, itās much easier and more impactful to document whatās already happening. Thatās exactly what I do with this podcast; I document my journey, and it becomes my content.
By documenting your journey, you bring your audience along for the ride. It takes the pressure off trying to be creative all the time, and it builds long-term engagement because people want to follow your story. Whether youāre building a personal brand or growing a business, documenting your process gives you an endless source of content while helping you stay authentic and relatable.
Transcript:
Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! Iām pretty excited this morning as Iām driving to the Faculty of Economics where Iāll be giving a lecture. The road isnāt great, so apologies in advance, but I thought it would be fun to share the topic Iām presenting. In fact, I havenāt fully rehearsed it yet, so this is like a trial run with you as my audience!
The Faculty of Economics, where I got my bachelorās degree in eBusiness, invited me to speak to about 50 to 100 students. Iām going to be talking about social media, specifically personal branding and business branding. I saw that other guest speakers talked about things like data and statistics, but I wanted to do something more engaging and relevant to the students. Instead of just talking about business departments like HR or marketing, Iām focusing on how they can become influencers. Itās a hook to grab their attention, but Iāll also apply the same principles to business branding to make it practical for them.
My presentation is divided into two main lessons, and Iāll share the first one with you today. Itās something Iāve been thinking about for a while as I see how people behave on social media. Hereās the main idea: instead of constantly trying to create new content, document your journey. Thatās rightādocument, donāt create. As a business owner, this podcast is an example of how Iām documenting my journey. Iām telling you that Iām about to give a lecture at the Faculty of Economics, and thatās content! Documenting your journey makes content creation much easier because youāre simply sharing whatās happening in your life or business.
Too many people struggle to come up with creative content consistently. They feel like they need a high-production team, fancy cameras, and complex ideas. But documenting your journey doesnāt need all that. Itās natural, raw, and engaging. When you take people on your journey, they want to follow along and see what happens next. And unlike a typical social media post that disappears in a day or two, documenting a journey keeps people coming back to see how the story unfolds. It gives you long-term content that can build an engaged audience over time.
Thatās how I approach all of my contentāfrom podcasts to books to summits. I document the things Iām already doing in my business, and it takes the pressure off having to constantly invent new ideas. For instance, Sweet Leads documents everything that worked in our B2B appointment-setting service, and my Financial Freedom book is essentially a decade-long journey from skill development to financial independence. Whether you want to become an influencer or build your brand, documenting your journey gives you both content and purpose.
So, thatās lesson number one: document, donāt create. It applies to personal branding, business branding, and everything in between. Start documenting whatās happening in your life or company, and youāll be surprised at how much easier social media content becomes. Trust me, youāll thank me later!
In this episode, I talk about my decision to finally start my PhD, or rather, a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). After delaying it for years, I realized it was time to dive in. The focus of my DBA is on how small service-oriented companies can grow using AI and automation. Iāve had to narrow my research down significantly, but now Iām looking at how AI can streamline processes in HR, marketing, sales, and operations to help businesses scale faster.
One of the most exciting parts of this journey is seeing how AI can make my research easier. Tools like ChatGPT have helped me with literature reviews, and Iāll be using AI transcription and analysis tools for my primary research. Iām saving months of work just by using automation in my dissertation process, which perfectly aligns with my research topic. Over the next three years, Iāll be applying all of these principles to my own companies and sharing what I learn along the way.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! Howās it going, guys? Lately, Iāve been lagging behind on my sales stories, but Iāve been so busy with other things that I thought Iād share them with you. Todayās topic is AI, and how it ties into my PhD journey. Iāve been delaying starting my PhD for a while, thinking ānext year will be easier,ā but guess what? It never gets easier! So, I finally took the plunge.
Last year, I was ready to start my PhD, but when my wife became pregnant, I thought it wasnāt the right time. Now, Iāve finally started, and Iām pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). Itās different from a PhD in that itās more appliedāfocused on research that can be directly used in business. My DBA is all about how small, service-based, bootstrap companies can grow using automation and AI, which is a perfect fit for the work I do.
As I started this process, I realized the importance of narrowing my focus. Initially, I thought, "Iāll just research how companies can grow." But my advisors pushed me to get more specific, so now Iām focusing on how small service-oriented companies can use AI and automation to scale. The idea is to look at all aspects of a companyāHR, marketing, sales, operationsāand identify how AI can streamline processes and save time. My dissertation will explore these hacks, and Iāll be applying those same principles to my own businesses.
Using AI for my dissertation feels like a cheat code! ChatGPT has already saved me tons of time with literature reviews, and Iāve got tools lined up for transcription and interview analysis. What used to take months can now be done in weeks. Iām excited to dive deeper into how AI can help small businesses grow, and Iām applying all of these ideas to my own companies as I work through this process. I hope to complete my DBA in three years, but until then, Iāll be sharing all the insights I uncover along the way!
In this episode, I talk about finding your uniqueness in business by combining different skill sets to stand out in a crowded market. A friend of mine was deciding between focusing on her marketing experience or continuing in sales. My advice to her? Donāt chooseācombine both! By positioning herself as a sales expert with a marketing background or vice versa, she could differentiate herself and add more value to potential clients or employers.
The key takeaway here is that combining skillsāwhether in sales, marketing, or any other fieldāmakes you unique. It immediately sets you apart from the competition and allows you to charge more for your services. This episode is all about finding those unique combinations of skills that make you stand out and leveraging them to increase your impact and earning potential.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! Itās about 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning, and Iām waiting for the gym to open. Since Iāve got 15 minutes to spare, I thought it would be a great time to share a conversation I had yesterday, which is perfect for this podcast. This episode isnāt just sales-relatedāitās for anyone with a skillset whoās looking to enter consultancy or get paid more for what they do.
I had a conversation with a friend whoās considering starting an agency and wants to further professionalize herself. Her dilemma was whether she should pursue a career in marketing, which she loves, or in sales, where she has extensive experience. That led us to the idea of combining these two skill sets.
In a crowded job market, where millions of people have either sales or marketing expertise, how do you stand out? My advice to her was to combine her skills. Why not position herself as a sales expert with a background in marketing or vice versa? By doing this, she could differentiate herself from the competition and immediately add more value to potential employers or clients.
For example, a salesperson with a marketing background could write more persuasive emails, create nurturing content, and optimize sales outreach in ways that purely sales-focused professionals canāt. Similarly, a marketer with sales experience could create content that doesnāt just build awareness but also converts leads into customers. This combination makes you unique, increases your value, and can easily double or triple your earning potential.
At the end of the day, itās about finding your niche and using your combined experience to stand out from the crowd. Whether you choose sales or marketing, adding that extra layer of expertise makes all the difference. And when youāre applying for jobs or starting your own agency, being able to say, āI specialize in X, but I also bring Y to the tableā is a game-changer.
In this episode, I reflect on a pivotal moment in my early twenties when I decided to stop investing in others and start investing in myself. Frustrated after an investment with friends didnāt pan out, I realized that I could count on myself more than anyone else. So, I made the best decision of my life: I enrolled in a masterās degree in entrepreneurship. That decision shaped my entire career, leading me to start BizzBee Solutions and become a consultant.
Iāve continued to invest in myself over the years, earning certifications and pursuing higher education. Now, Iām working toward my Doctor of Business Administration, knowing that this investment will serve me for decades to come. The lesson Iāve learned is that investing in yourself has an infinite return on investment. Itās a lesson that I hope resonates with others who are looking for their next big move.
transcription:
Hello, guys! I'm still here in Yerevan and wanted to finish up my thoughts on the investor's dilemma. In the previous episodes, I discussed what to do if you have some extra money to investāwhether to put it in stocks, buy a company, or start something new. We also talked about the importance of making sure the team you invest in has skin in the game. But I didnāt tell you how that story ended.
I was about 23 years old at the time, and I was frustrated. I didnāt have a lot of money to throw into stocks or other investments, and I was emotionally exhausted after having to chase my close friends for a business idea they came up with. It was their idea, but I had higher expectations for them. Eventually, I realized that I would never disappoint myself, and thatās when I made the best decision of my lifeāI decided to invest in myself.
I thought, āIf I invest in myself, whatās the return on investment?ā The answer was infinite. I didnāt have BizzBee Solutions at that time, but I knew that whatever skills I gained would pay off for the next 50 years. So, the very next day, I enrolled in a masterās degree program. I decided to pursue a masterās in entrepreneurship, and it changed everything for me. Over the next two or three years, I learned so much about the entrepreneurial worldāfunding, company life cycles, what investors look for, and so much more.
This investment in myself set me on the path to where I am today. If it werenāt for that masterās degree, I wouldnāt have started BizzBee Solutions or become a management consultant. That degree gave me the credibility to land clients, and it still serves me today. Since then, Iāve continued to invest in myself, from getting an MBA to earning certifications like Certified Management Consultant (CMC). And now, at 38, Iām pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration, because I know that every investment in myself will pay dividends for decades to come.
Itās funny how life worksāif I hadnāt pursued that masterās degree, I wouldnāt be here in Armenia speaking at this consulting conference. So, for anyone out there struggling with where to invest your time and money, my advice is simple: invest in yourself. Itās the one investment you can always count on.
In this episode, I continue my discussion about investing and share a personal experience of trying to partner with a passionate team years ago. I invested in a recording studio, but quickly learned that passion alone isnāt enough. The people I worked with werenāt ready to take on the responsibility of being entrepreneurs, and the project fizzled out when I wasnāt around to push it forward. The lesson? Entrepreneurs need to have skin in the game, whether through time, effort, or capital, to truly succeed.
The second big insight I share is about leverage. If Iām going to invest in a business, it needs to be in an industry where I have experience and knowledgeāwhether itās SaaS, lead generation, or building communities. That way, I can add real value without having to learn everything from scratch. Investing in businesses that align with my expertise means I can maximize my contribution and ensure long-term success.
Transcription:
Hello everybody, itās me again, still here in Yerevan, and I wanted to continue from the previous Investorās Dilemma episode. Something new came to mind that I had to share. Iāve actually tried the approach of finding passionate people to join their businesses, and let me tell you, it didnāt work out as I had hoped.
This goes back 20 yearsāwell, maybe more like 15 yearsāwhen I was working in a corporation and making some good money. Some of my friends, who were entrepreneurs, would come to me with business ideas. Iād think, āOkay, I can gamble a little bit of money on this.ā One idea that really caught my attention was from a friend who was a musician. He wanted to build a recording studio, and as a business guy, I did my homework. It seemed like a solid business idea. Beyond working with singers, the studio could offer services like voiceover recordings for commercials, mastering audio, and providing international audio engineering services through platforms like Upwork.
It seemed promising, so I invested in the studio. But hereās the thing: I realized that not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. The passion was there when I was around, but when I left, nothing happened. I quickly learned that even if you give people the money, resources, and the opportunity, some just arenāt ready to take action. Itās a skill set not everyone has, and they need more than just financial backingāthey need real skin in the game.
Looking back, I see that I could have approached it differently. Maybe I should have offered them more ownership to motivate them, or required them to put in some capital or effort. But the lesson I took from this is that if youāre going to join someone in their business, they need to already be making progress on their own. Iām no longer interested in investing in just ideas. I want to work with entrepreneurs who have already proven theyāre serious about their venture. If theyāve made progressāwhether itās building an MVP, offering free trials, or developing an established communityāthatās when Iāll get involved.
The second big lesson was about leverage. If Iām going to invest, it needs to be in something I already know a lot about. I donāt want to spend time learning a whole new industry, like a restaurant or a golf course. Iāve built up expertise in sales, SaaS, lead generation, and building communities over the past decade. These are the industries where I have leverageāwhere I know the competitors, the tools, and the market inside and out. Thatās where I should be putting my money.
In this episode, I talk about what happens when a business owner reaches a point where the business no longer needs them. BizzBee Solutions is running smoothly, and Iām not as excited about it as I once was. With some extra money in hand, I considered investing in the stock exchange, but the returns didnāt seem worth it. Starting a new business also feels like too much work at this stage, so I explored different options.
Iāve been thinking about becoming a business angelāinvesting in an existing business or joining a passionate team and providing both capital and expertise. This approach allows me to add value without being the main driving force behind the business. I share my thought process and invite listeners to reflect on what they would do in my situation: invest in stocks, start a new business, or support others as a business angel.
transcript:
Hello, everybody, and welcome again! Greetings from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. I just climbed some seriously tough stairs, and while Iām catching my breath, Iāve got something on my mind that Iāve been thinking about for a whileāso now seems like the perfect time to record a podcast.
As business owners, we sometimes get tired of our businesses. After a while, we make money, we grow, and then we reach a point where the company no longer needs us to function. Thatās where I am now. BizzBee Solutions is doing well on its own, and I donāt feel that same excitement anymore. So I thought, whatās next? I need something new to ignite my passion, and now I have some extra money to invest.
Initially, I considered putting my money into the stock exchangeāsomething low-effort that would generate passive income. But when I did the math, a 5-6% return didnāt seem all that attractive. It felt like Iād need to invest a massive amount just to see a decent return. And letās be honest, as an entrepreneur, the stock exchange feels a bit too hands-off for me.
Then I thought about starting a new company, but I quickly remembered all the sleepless nights and the hustle that comes with launching a business from scratch. At 38, starting over feels like a lot of work. Iām looking for something that requires less of my time and effort. So I began exploring other optionsālike buying an existing business through platforms like Flippa or Acquire. But again, Iād need to hire someone to maintain it or get into the technical weeds myself, which is not ideal since Iām not a developer.
This brought me to the idea of becoming a business angel. Instead of acquiring a business outright, I could invest in one or become a partial owner. That way, Iād get the team as well, and I wouldnāt have to learn everything from scratch. I could add value where itās needed, but the business could keep growing without me being involved in every detail. That sounds much more appealing.
The idea is to find people who are passionate about what theyāre doing and join them in their venture. Whether itās a restaurant, a golf club, or any other business, I could provide the capital and the expertise, and they would run the business. Itās a win-win. As entrepreneurs, we often want to be the driving force, but at this stage in my life, Iām more interested in supporting others while leveraging my experience.
I think this is a great approach for business owners who are looking for their next challenge. Instead of starting from scratch, consider finding a passionate team and supporting them with your expertise and capital. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Would you invest in stocks, start a new business, or explore the business angel route?
In this episode, I share my journey toward becoming a public speaker and how consultancy fits into my long-term strategy. Iām flying to Armenia to speak at a conference on AI and consulting, but this gig is part of a bigger plan. I realized that professional speakers can earn between 10,000 and 20,000 euros per gig, and Iāve started reverse-engineering the steps to get there. Itās not just about speaking for free; itās about building a portfolio and investing in the long game.
Iāve documented all my past speaking engagements, created a āSpeakingā section on my website, and started positioning myself to charge more for public speaking. The Armenia gig is an investment in my future, and Iām using it to build credibility and connections. I discuss how anyone can apply this mindset, whether youāre trying to scale your consultancy or grow an agency to 100 employeesāitās all about planning, taking action, and letting time do its work.
Transcription:
Good morning everyone, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! I'm stuck in traffic right now and thought, what better time to record a podcast? As I promised myself and all of you, Iām committed to recording more episodes. So, todayās topic is consultancy. Iāve been diving much deeper into the consulting world, and I want to share why Iām doing it, how Iām doing it, and why you should consider it too.
Tomorrow, Iām flying to Armenia for a week to speak at the international TMT Consulting Conference in Yerevan. Itās an exciting opportunity because Iāll be discussing how AI is transforming industries. But before that, I wanted to give you the background on why Iām pursuing public speaking alongside my consulting work. About two months ago, I decided I wanted to become a public speaker. After doing some research and consulting with ChatGPT and a few speakers, I realized that in the U.S., professional speakers can earn between 10,000 and 20,000 euros per gig. That was mind-blowing to me! You get your costs covered, speak for a couple of hours, and youāre done. It really made me think about what I need to do to reach that level.
Instead of doubting myself, I approached it entrepreneurially. I reverse-engineered the process: to charge 20,000 euros for speaking, I need someone to pay me 1,000 euros first, then 2,000, then 5,000, and so on. But to even get started, I need to speak for free and build up my portfolio. So, Iāve been documenting my speaking engagements over the last 20 yearsāeverything from Albania to Finlandāand added a āSpeakingā section to my website.
Now, when I go to Armenia, Iāll be speaking for free, but Iām also paying for my own travel and accommodation. Itās an investment in my long-term strategy. By building my public speaking portfolio and network, Iām climbing the value ladder and positioning myself to eventually charge higher fees. Armenia is not just a speaking gig; itās a marketing opportunity for BizzBee Solutions and a chance to connect with other consultants who could become potential clients.
The lesson here is that no matter what your goal isāwhether you want to be a top consultant or grow your agency to 100 employeesāyou need to reverse-engineer the steps and start taking action today. Time is the main variable, but as long as you keep building, you'll get there.
In this episode, I explore the idea of time and how the compounding effect applies not just to money, but to building assets. As a consultant, Iām often paid by the hour, but I realized that investing those hours into creating lasting assetsālike courses, books, or public speaking servicesācan provide returns indefinitely. I share how I recently built a new public speaking service that only took 10 hours of work but will continue to generate income for years.
The key takeaway is that while billable hours offer immediate returns, investing time into long-term assets can lead to greater, lasting financial success. I also talk about how my investments in stocks, real estate, and my education (specifically my Doctor of Business Administration degree) will continue to grow in value over time. Iām playing the long game, and time is on my side, helping me build a sustainable future.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! How's it going, guys? It's getting colder here in Macedonia, and with the cold weather, people seem to be staying in more. Anyhow, I had a great conversation with a friend yesterday, and I thought, "This needs to be a podcast episode!" We talked about time and the compounding effect.
Youāve probably heard about the compounding effect when it comes to moneyāhow it grows over time, especially when you reinvest. Einstein even said compounding interest is the seventh wonder of the world. But we discussed something elseāhow building assets over time can be just as powerful as the compounding effect with money.
As a consultant, Iām paid by the hour. Sure, itās good money, but if I take those same hours and invest them in building somethingālike a webinar, an online course, or even a bookāthatās something I can sell infinitely. The last time I did that, I built up my public speaking services, which took about 10 hours. Iāve spoken at over 25 international events, and after some research and putting everything together, I created a new service. Now, anyone can visit my website, and under the āSpeakingā section, theyāll see all my past events and topics. I turned 10 hours of work into a service I can offer indefinitely.
So, hereās the dilemma: Do you invest time in billable hours, where you get paid right away, or in something that can generate long-term income? In my current life, time is on my side because Iāve built so many assets and invested in long-term business activities. Even if I donāt do anything new, those investments will continue to grow over time. My investments in stocks, real estate, and crypto are all going to be worth more in the future. BizzBee Solutions will be more valuable because itās a company with nearly a decade of experience.
And letās not forget, Iām working on my Doctor of Business Administration degree, which will boost my consultancy and public speaking gigs even more. Iāve been thinking about the long-term benefitsāhow in a few years, Iāll be in an entirely different place, charging more for my services and scaling even further. Iām constantly compounding on multiple frontsābusiness, financial investments, and personal development.
The lesson here is that building assets over time puts you in control of your future. Whether it's books, real estate, or public speaking opportunities, the more I invest in these things now, the more Iāll benefit in the future. Iām playing the long game, and time is definitely on my side.
In this episode, I make my long-awaited comeback to podcasting after a four-month break. Life has been busy!
On the personal side, Iām thrilled to share that we welcomed our third childāa baby girlāinto the family.
Professionally, Iāve been diving deep into my Doctor of Business Administration degree.
Podcast transcript:
Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Sweet Buzz! How's it going, guys? It's been, what, four months since I last podcasted.
Wow, time flies. There's a short explanation as to why I was gone, and simply put, I needed a break. I needed a break from the company, from social media, from everythingāand man, a lot has happened in these past few months.
Iām using this podcast to catch up with you and share whatās been happening in my life. Iāll keep it short because this is me pushing myself to get back into podcasting. Before, I used to carefully prepare the content, but now Iāve decided to just hit record and start. I need to get back into shape because podcasting helped me collect my thoughts, strategize for my book, and work on various projects.
My last big project was the Financial Freedom book, and after that, I decided to take a break. During my time off, I did plenty of things I didnāt report. On a personal note, I did some traveling with the family. Oh, and big newsāI had a baby! Three weeks ago, we welcomed our third child, a girl.
So now, I have two boys and a girl. Sheās three weeks old, and honestly, I havenāt slept much, but the excitement is real. Having kids is something that everyone should experience at least once. It has been taking up a lot of my time, but I wouldnāt trade it for anything.
Thatās the big update on the personal front. On the professional side, Iāve also started a PhD, or technically, a Doctor of Business Administration. Itās a three-year journey, and so far, Iāve completed three out of seven subjects. Iām on track to finish the rest by the end of this year. After that, Iāll focus on writing my dissertation.
My dissertation is going to focus on digital transformation, my area of expertise. Iām spending the next few years figuring out how to adapt the large-scale digital transformation frameworks used by big consulting firms so they can be useful for small and medium-sized businesses. Iām diving deep into AI and automation as well because, a decade ago, these tools were only accessible to large corporations. Now, with tools like ChatGPT, even small businesses can start using AI.
Iām planning to create my own framework around this, and my dissertation will form the foundation for a new digital transformation service offering. So, stay tunedāthereās another service in the works!
As for BizzBee, things are stable. We have ups and downsāsome months are incredibly busy, while others are quieterābut overall, weāre doing well. The consultancy is also on the right track. However, I feel the urge to start a few more companies, and maybe thatās why I finally have something interesting to share on the podcast.
It felt boring to just say, āHey guys, my wife is pregnant, and Iām working on my dissertation.ā But now I have insights to share, things you can learn from and use to scale your business. If Iām not scaling my company, whatās the point of podcasting, right? So, with this episode, Iām announcing my comeback! Expect many more podcasts, each one focused on a specific tool, technique, or angle that Iām figuring out, or a new business venture that Iām exploring.
Thatās all I had for today. Itās September, and we have a few good months left in the year. Iāve already made my plan for what I want to achieve between now and December, and reviving the podcast was part of that plan.
Maybe in the next episode, Iāll talk about my three-month strategy so you can see that none of this is by chanceāI plan everything in three-month chunks. Thatās all for today. Have a great day!
Cheers!
I just had my major public event. Curious to see how it went and what I've learned?

Today, I want to share why investing in stocks can beat spending on consumer products. I stumbled upon a video comparing Apple stock vs. buying iPhones over the years - mind-blowing difference!
I emphasize putting money into brands you love. Allocating a bit each month to stocks can lead to significant returns. I share my experience with Upwork, a platform I use and invest in. Remember, research is key. Find strong brands with growth potential before diving into stocks. "Find products you love, buy the stocks, not just the product."

Just hopped off a workshop with the Association of Management Consultants in Macedonia, and let me tell you, a mindset shift hit me like a ton of bricks. Last year, I was all about waiting for the organization to kickstart a project certifying Macedonian consultants. But this time, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Proposed dropping ā¬10,000 to get it rolling independently, with the association on board for a share of the revenue. And you know what? They loved the idea. Here's the kicker ā I'm not going solo. I pitched the concept of pooling resources, and more than five consultants are already on board. It's a mindset shift from solo to teamwork, from playing it safe to taking calculated risks. So, here's the takeaway: check your mindset when it comes to business opportunities. š

Back in December, I really thought that my book was ready for a January release, only to face delays. Then, I decided to put the book on the test. And dang, it hurt! Remember COVID? Remember how things started to go out of control when it hit? Or how do things begin to look different when platforms change their rules? Well, that inspired me to think about a crucial aspect of business survival ā diversifying sales channels. Relying on just one sales channel can be risky and threaten your business. Those things can quickly turn your go-to sales strategy into a dead end. So, the real question is how can YOU rethink your sales strategy and ensure your business stays resilient in any circumstance?Ā
