Velvet Teas Podcast Season 1 Episode 5: Toxic Masculinity Hey y’all welcome back to Velvet Teas! I hope y’all got y’all mugs ready because the tea is going to be hot today. Today the flavor we are serving up is Toxic Masculinity! Episode Rundown:  I have my returning guest Devonte R. Washington who is my best friend and guest from episode 2! We come to you to have a discussion on today’s view of toxic masculinity. We will we be discussing where it came from, and how is has had a long-lasting effect in today's society. Also, within the discussion we will evaluate certain traits that are tied to the term masculine. Are goal is to make men and women reevaluate the issue. Are discussion will consist of: Toxic Masculinity (How did it start) What is your definition of it? How do you feel about it? How does society fuel the issue? Men  Women LGBTQ Examples of Toxic Masculinity: Aggression  Perception of superiority toward women Being Promiscuous Emotional Repression Homophobia How to deal with Toxic Masculinity Fighting against teaching it to the next generation Educate  Both men and women must do better  The last couple of minutes of every episode, we will have a segment called "Sip and Reflect”. I give my guest an age bracket that they have to give advice/tips/warnings to themselves within that age bracket only. This segment is designed to help the listeners who might be going through situations that might make them feel they are alone.

She is a hardworking, independent, and beautiful educated woman who opinion is always backed up by knowledge. In today's podcast, we will be taking a walk down love street. We will discuss what stops a person from allowing their partner to love them. Also, some mental blocks that always run through our head in a relationship.
