Following the Holy Spirit will change you in powerful ways. The Holy Spirit produces behavior traits that are representative of Jesus. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
James 5:14–16

"Sin is the wound; repentance is the medicine. In the wound there is rottenness; the medicine cleanses the decay. The putrefaction, reproach, and mocking are caused by sin. However, courage, freedom, and the cleansing of sin accompany repentance."
This particular conversation is about family stresses and strains. How do we listen, love, and pray during these uncomfortable moments with our family? Where is God in all of this?
Rev. Kathy, Vickie, and Phil have a conversation about the campus of a small Christian college in Wilmore, Kentucky, where a massive worship service has been rolling, nonstop, for nearly two weeks. The event at Asbury University is so popular, people have flown from across the country, standing in line outside of the college's main chapel for an opportunity to take part in the singing, praying, and discussion unfolding within.
What in the world is going on here? And what, exactly, is a Christian revival?
The goal of Prayer, Share, and Care is to create natural relationships with people in your life and then find a way to tell them how Christ has changed you. The group has been described as having a group of friends who really have your back and who you can trust. The process began with God choosing people He wanted to gather, then the group prays for discernment, direction, and love toward each other.
