LORD Jesus by Holy Spirit had Paul to correct an erroneous teaching that the Day of the LORD had already come. Paul shows events that are prelude to coming of LORD Jesus. Here are some of those events which Paul highlights in his letter to the Thessalonians: First there will be a falling away, known as the great apostasy. Second, the man of sin is revealed. Third, there must be a construction of the third temple in order for the lawless one (anti-christ) to sit in it (the Temple of God) declaring himself to be God. These things are some of the events that must be precursory to the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.
