Description

The rebrand. Tying it all together. Mental health is physical health y’all. Not having the two in the same category is egregious.

This is where we get real. Not as real as Andy Frisella but close some times. I won’t make apologies for being me. I struggle. I succeed. And I’m here to validate both for you.

Most of all, don’t be a dick. Life is hard. It’ll get harder. Do your part and get better. Every single day.

your daily reminder to be nice to people in public.
PBS just released a documentary about mental health and it’s affects on youth. It’s opened up a whole new conversation in my head and I encourage you to check it out. ‘In Plain Sight.’

Hey y’all it’s been a minute but the power is back on!
Taylor Swift (for the SEO), had everything to do with all of my passwords when I was young. 15 years later, I can relate to her on a whole new level. #StoryTelling. Check out my latest podcast, uncut and unedited. That doesn't mean it's dirty, it just means I recorded and uploaded in under an hour.

#7: #75Hard Recap ish

I finished #75Hard. I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I'm capable of a lot. I learned that I have the greatest wife who ever lived. I learned that I have several great friends. I learned that I had several fake friends. I learned not to give a F#$%. And I learned that we're all capable of awesome shit.
Birthdays have always been love/hate for me. I'm not good at receiving gifts or praise, believe it or now. And this year especially, I don't feel like I deserve any special attention. BUT, after the year I had of extreme growth, I'm thankful to be where I am. Hard lessons, tough truths, and amazing support. Thanks for the memories 27; onto the next.
We live in a world where everyone is an 'expert' and everyone's opinion is valid. Maybe so, but it is not your place to know everything or be the one who gets to decide what is true and what is false. Sometimes, it's better to shut up and accept that you don't know.
It took a while, but I've found value in knowing that where mental health and physical health intersect is where you begin changing your life. Listen in to hear about how struggles with body image directly impacted my mental health and how committing to myself and putting ME first has changed everything for the better.
How much time would you have saved yourself, in any realm of life, if you quit making excuses and started making progress instead? You're capable of more than you're telling yourself. Listen closely!
I spent most of my life trying to fit the mold that I thought other people were looking for. My mental health took a backseat. My physical health took a backseat. My closest relationships took a backseat. I thought, very honestly, that if everyone loved me that I would be okay with not completely loving myself. I was wrong. This podcast is inspired by the book 'The Mountain is You' by Brianna Wiest; if you're looking for a book to read, go order it. Subscribe and Share the Channel... let's build something great.
I quit caring what you might think of me putting myself out there and I went ahead and recorded myself. This is me and this is my way of being accountable to myself and therapeutically working through my mind. I hope you'll take a listen.
