As the Democratic Primary soldiers on, Malik Marshall joins the show to look back on the adultery/paternity scandal that rocked the 2008 campaign. We question John Edwards's decisions from every angle, and ask important questions like, "How much of a scumbag is he? The biggest?"

If this episode seems uniquely juiced to you, it's because we're talking Jose Canseco with SBNation's Seth Rosenthal. We trace his Sordid History back to poor driving during his playing career, escapades with his twin brother Ozzie, and his current inability to stop posting.

Don't take your shoes off on an airplane.
Ahoy! Sordid History is back with its most frustrating episode. Guest Tyler Chatham and I recall Johnny Depp’s bad boy past and then waiver back and forth as to whether the domestic violence allegations against him from Amber Heard are true. You know evidence is conflicting when even I won’t jump to a conclusion.

My close personal friend Michael Springthorpe makes his 5th appearance on the pod to talk about the sex scandal and downfall of Florida congressman Mark Foley, who he met as a child. We recount Foley's almost ten-year run of sending sexual messages to underaged men, and have a lot of questions. Then, as we are wont to do, we go on a tangent about the film Spotlight and then about Palm Beach County, where Springthorpe is from and Foley was a congressman.
All in all, good stuff.

As you might imagine, since there is a Sordid History episode about him, Morgan Freeman is not America's Grandpa like people think he is, unless your idea of a grandpa is a dirty old man. My good friend Andre Barrera joined the show to talk through the actor's years of sexual harassment and another long-running transgression that I do not want to give away in the description. So ha. You've gotta listen to find out now.

It's been a long time coming, but the show is finally tackling one of the biggest takedowns of the #MeToo era, Louis CK. Sam Speedy, a very funny and insightful friend who was on the sixth episode of the show, is back to grapple with how we first encountered the rumors and why it took so long to come out.
Unlike the thing that Louis liked to do, it is perfectly fine to listen to this podcast in front of co-workers.

Remember when Rob Lowe recorded a sex tape with a sixteen year-old girl? Well, we sure do. Comic Vinay Umapathy climbs aboard to retell Rob Lowe's experience at the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Vinay is funny and so is this episode.

Happy 2019! Sordid History is back and better than ever, this time with good friend and comedy writer Graham Dunn to talk about an unfortunate habit of the late president Bush. Also, we have a brief update on Woody Allen and briefly wade into the waters of politics. Exciting stuff.

The midterms are over, so it's time to uncover some Sordid History for someone who one, namely New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez. Michael Brooks of The Michael Brooks Show, the Majority Report, and the Woke Bros joins the show to discuss this specific instance of political corruption and how it relates to the broad corruption across American politics. We also poke fun at the Florida ophthalmologist Menendez was trading favors with, so you're gonna want to stick around for that.

Basketball is back and so is Sordid History. I'm joined by my friend Noah Elmore to discuss a player that is often celebrated and enjoyed: Lance Stephenson. Noah and I discuss how his two seriously heinous offenses from before he entered the league should affect the way we talk about him, as well as whether we believe someone can change after such actions. There are also several good basketball-related tangents if you're into that sort of thing.

The Haitian Sensation himself, Big Wos, rejoins the show to talk about the last time Republicans put up a Supreme Court nominee with a sordid past: Clarence Thomas. We go through Anita Hill's allegations against her old boss and discuss how things have and haven't changed. We then discuss the Kavanaugh nomination in general, and neither of us have many nice things to say about the Republican Party of 2018. And you probably shouldn't, either.

Unlike your online girlfriend, Sordid History is real and here to stay. This week, I'm joined by my friend Celeste Crawford to discuss Nev Schulman, the host of Catfish. We go over his recent sexual harassment allegations as well as the one time he punched a woman in the face while attending college. And yes, we digress a few times, but I imagine you'll find the digressions funny and endearing, and not just distractions from the topic at hand, MOM.

Twitter icon Lady Broseph (AKA Kate) joins the show to talk about the general disgusting behavior of former Fox News pundit Bill O'Reilly. We discuss his phone etiquette, his tumultuous marriage and divorce, and whether being a shitty person is why his skin looks so bad. Take a listen because there are some details you have likely not heard, and you will either laugh hysterically or vomit, so you might as well take a chance.

In honor of the 50th episode of the show, we're talking the most requested topic in my DMs: Woody Allen. And to do that, I've got THREE returning guests: Michael Springthorpe (@springthorpeman), Addison Allen (@addison_allen), and Delmonte Bent (@delbent).
We marvel at how insane it is that Woody Allen is still out here publicly and the fact that so many of his movies are about having sexual relationships with younger women. Also, we have tangents, and fun, etc etc.
Thanks for getting the show to fifty episodes. Here's to fifty more.

My good friend and longtime roommate McKay Giller finally joins the show to talk about all the bad shit T.J. Miller has done. Whether it be slapping an Uber driver, calling in a fake bomb threat, or allegedly raping a woman in college, he is no stranger to being an asshole. And if that weren't bad enough, he also seems like the worst person to be around. So needless to say, this was a fun one.

This week, we take a long look at what is likely the NFL's biggest fuck up on the domestic violence front: Ray Rice. And to do that, we are joined by co-host of the Good Takes NBA Podcast Ryne Jones. It doesn't feel like that long ago, but believe me, you will be shocked by how poorly this all went down, from the gruesome video, to the suspension, to the horrific PR by the Ravens. It is much worse than you remember.

Creator of #MusicSermons and culture critic Naima Cochrane joins the show to have a serious discussion of Bill Cosby's long history of sexual assault and what his conviction means going forward. We delve into topics like his role in the black community, how he cultivated his image, and how attitudes towards rape have changed. This is a serious one mostly. Sue me.

Fan-favorite Delmonte Bent joins the show for a record fourth time to break down the arrests and public drunkenness of actor and performance artist Shia LaBeouf. We recount numerous stories, including the famous one where he got thrown out of Cabaret on Broadway. Then, we have a surprisingly earnest conversation about performance art and the success of Shia's activism. I know, I'm as surprised as anyone.

It's Wrestlemania weekend, so Def Pen Sports Editor-in-Chief Rob Lopez joined the show to recount the many, many scandals and transgressions in Vince McMahon's tenure as president of the WWE. We go through the steroid trials, sexual harassment lawsuits, and the murders that happened on Vince's watch. Rob is super knowledgeable and the WWE is ridiculous, so this episode is sure to be enjoyable.

Great podcast! Love hearing about all the stuff celebrities have done, but I also get a real kick out of all the tangents they go on
