In this episode of Stop Over with Nasuna Zimbe we speak to wellness coach and Co-owner of Lift Studio LDN Danni Tabor Smith about her journey through the process of grief and multiple miscarriages. Shortly after getting married Danni received the tragic news that her Mother was diagnosed with stage 3 incurable lung cancer. During her mother’s treatment Danni suffered a miscarriage and then went on to suffer two more miscarriages post her mother’s passing. Despite it all, Danni - now a new mother to a beautiful baby boy has remained hopeful amidst the biggest storms of her life. During our conversation we talk about coping with the multilayered stages of grief and emotional suffering that one endures when someone you love is taken from you. We discuss how to find a way to carry on through the depths of despair. Danni teaches us that through seeking support and having compassion for yourself you can learn to live with grief and live a full life again.

In this episode of Stop Over with Nasuna Zimbe we speak to Actress, Dancer, Singer and Cancer survivor Lori Barker Whyte about her triumphant journey to London's West End Stage. Lori gained her undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at Kings University London before embarking on her professional training at Drama School.  During our conversation we talk about Lori's victorious ride to achieving her dreams. Despite having to leave drama school after less than one term due to not receiving a scholarship, Lori began full time office employment as she silently prepared to apply for Drama School once more - this time securing a fully funded scholarship at Urdang Academy. After graduating from Drama school, a gap in work followed by a challenging few years saw Lori going through alopecia before being diagnosed with bowel cancer soon after getting married.  We discuss the power of the human spirit and how Lori managed to stay in the light through it all. We talk about how Lori's tenacity, determination, courage and gratitude for life lead her to finally landing her West End debut role in Tina Turner the Musical.
