The word community means a feeling of fellowship with others as a result of shared interests, experiences and goals. Does your Community provide you with the strength that you need to grow? For the remainder of this year, take inventory of your life. Look at what has properly fed you emotionally and look openly at your current communities. Then going forward, challenge yourself if need be. Challenge yourself to get planted somewhere that will provide you with the fuel and emotional or mental nutrients that you need to begin to operate at your full potential in this next season of your life. We want you to thrive in 2022 so begin to create your community today!
Do you feel that communication is your superpower? Specifically, do you understand that the most important part of communication is NOT speaking? Tune in for this weeks short message on the power of Active Listening!
Episode 26: Be BOLD!

Episode 26: Be BOLD!

2021-12-0307:22

To be BOLD is sometimes thought of as taking unnecessary risks or being loud. Quite honestly it is often looked upon negatively and concluded to be only reserved for a select few. The reality is that the definition of being bold simply means, to be WILLING to take risks but more importantly being confident and courageous! Are you living BOLDLY and seeing life as the adventure that it is? Tune in to this weeks conversation for a new perspective that you may want to consider as the year draws to a close!
What motivates you to do what you do? Specifically, I want to talk to you about if you are leading with hunger and humility or are you appearing to be desperate and delusional? So with the days we have left in this year, I challenge you to take a pause, breathe and refocus. Let's discuss
What happens when there is a vast difference between your perception and the reality? How do we live and operate as close to the reality as possible? Oftentimes we will carry one view of a situation or even ourselves that seems to be the truth (reality). However unfortunately this “reality” can be very skewed and far from the actual truth for a variety of reasons. Our experiences shape our realities differently from that of our neighbor so what should we do when we want to see the world differently? How and when should we challenge our perceptions?
On the previous episode I recommended that you remember to unplug for a while, as a way to disengage to reengage so to speak. Did you consider it? If so, what happened after you unplugged for a while and meditated? What did you hear your heart saying while you focused on being intentionally present for your life? Perhaps you remembered a goal you'd once forgotten. Let's discuss.
We can all agree that technology has become a normal part of our world. Many of us can not remember the last time that we relied solely on something other than technology like when navigating a city for example without the use of a GPS system on our mobile phones. So I want to talk to you about what it means to have too much access and what will happen if you decide to Unplug for a while.
Are you a caregiver? If not, are you close to a person who is a caregiver? This weeks discussion is a conversation on Caregiver support and ways to eliminate burnout. So grab your notes, and prepare to learn how to support the Caregiver in you, so that you can go the long haul of helping those in your care. Caregiver fatigue and burnout is a real thing and we want you to learn how to avoid it!
What does it mean to be a visionary and to see things in others or perhaps situations that others can not see? As a child did you consider yourself to have an active imagination? I ask you these questions because I know that for many, as we transitioned into “adulthood” we found ourselves aligning with what we NEEDED to do rather than what we once LOVED to do. Let's discuss what it means to be a Visionary and uncover if you identify with the title "Visionary"!
I’m sure that many of you have experienced failure at least once in your lifetime! So what happens when we experience failure? How do you respond? What is the common response or natural response to failure and how should you aspire to respond? Let's discuss FAILURE as a part of our self-care journey.
I’m sure that many of you have heard the word GRATITUDE mentioned at least once in your lifetime. Well then, what is gratitude really and why is it so important to focus on and remember gratitude daily? Does it mean that we just smile about everything since some would associate gratitude with joy or happiness? Let's discuss...
Well, we can all agree that 2020 was a year like no other. For many of us the need to constantly shift to the many challenges we faced, showed us new angles to our previous perspectives of life. With the need to enforce Social Distancing by sheltering in place across the globe, what can you say that you learned about yourself? Additionally, what are you doing with this new perspective?
When was the last time you allowed yourself a minute to get lost in your thoughts or imagination? Are you aware that when we were young children, we were encouraged to use our imagination and nurture our creativity on a regular basis as a key component of our development? I think that it’s time that we consider the power of our daydreams as adults. Tune in to this weeks episode to learn why!
What do you see when you look in the mirror? Why is it important to FIRST love yourself? Do you remember that you should be kind while on this journey to a place of self-love and acceptance? Well this week are going to discuss confidence, self-love and how to embrace the journey while growing in these areas.
This week things are going to do things a little different. As we begin to embark upon the last few months of this year, I think that it is necessary to remind ourselves of the things that matter most; which is self-care and to make our mental health and well-being a priority. So sit back and enjoy these 8 self-care tips that have been collected in this one episode! You may also want to bookmark and share this episode with a friend.
What does it mean to live in and/or sit in your truth? Why is it important to understand and accept your truths? On this weeks episode we will take just a few minutes to discuss the importance of living freely in your TRUTH!
How is forgiveness and acceptance connected? Is there a difference between the two? We have all heard how important it is to practice forgiveness. Is it possible to have one without the other? I do not believe so. Tune in to this weeks episode to hear my perspective!
Have you been labeled a procrastinator? Or have you given yourself the label of being a procrastinator? What if I told you that maybe you aren’t a procrastinator at all?! Tune in for a different perspective!
