Moses' encounter with a burning bush and the birth of Jesus - connected? As we look at the Symbols of Salvation we'll see how Jesus appears in order to save us in the Old and New Testaments.
Jesus tells the disciples to endure till the end. Hebrews encourages us to not give up gathering together but to stir up one another to love and good works. With all that will happen as we get closer to the end, it is important to hear the Word of God that we may endure and not be lost forever.
October 10th sermon on Jesus and the rich young man. What is it that possesses you? Is it the love of money? Possessions? Reputation? or is it God. If God is not what you desire more than anything, then you too must sell that which possesses you.
God has gifted us with Faith which gives us forgiveness and salvation. We cannot neglect this gift lest it dies. So we are called by God to gather together, hear His Word, receive His gifts and to go and serve, stay in His Word, pray and glorify Him in all we think, say, and do.
September 12th 2001 is a special day in our history - a time when we felt like a united nation. That didn't last. Jesus is the only one who can unite us, the only one who can save us and answers all our prayers - though it may not appear that way in our limited views.

We kick-off a new school year by introducing our theme "In All Things" from Colossians 1:15-20
Elijah was an incredible prophet. Our lives may look boring compared to his. Yet, the most incredible thing he did was something we experience all the time...talking with Jesus, pointing to Him for salvation rather than our works.
As the Super Bowl teams prepared, they were disciplined (prepared) by their coaches through things like the playbook, practice and video sessions. How does God discipline us?
The Sanctity of Human Life Sunday sermon as written by Dr. James I. Lamb of Lutherans for Life.
Samuel hears the Lord...but does not yet know the Lord. He is not yet trained to "Hear" the word of God...take it in, dwell on it, live it, grow in it. Have we been trained to 'Hear"? Have we trained our children to hear us? Hear God? To listen and obey?
