It's the second edition of WWE Week in Review, which means it's time to dive into the week of WWE programming in the lead to the Royal Rumble PPV. This includes the following: -January 17, 1993 episode of Wrestling Challenge. -January 18, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw. -January 23, 1993 episode of WWF Mania. -January 23, 1993 episode of WWF Superstars.
In August 2014, the WWE Championship got a bit of a redesign when the logo on the center plate was updated to the logo that was used for the WWE Network. This specific belt would remain on television until it was replaced completely by the new belt design that was shown in June 2023. Today, I'm going over the history of the WWE Championship during this specific time period.
With the news at the Money in the Bank PLE of John Cena's retirement at the conclusion of 2025, it's time to go over my personal list of what I feel are John Cena's 25 best matches in his WWE career.
At long last, it's time for the new series within the podcast known as "WWE Week in Review". Every 3 weeks, this series will look at a full calendar week of WWF/WWE programming (starting with the week of Monday Night Raw's debut) all rolled into one podcast episode. This episode will cover Wrestling Challenge, Monday Night Raw, Mania, and Superstars from the week of January 10, 1993.
In November 2010, A&E released a documentary that focused on Hulk Hogan's personal downfall and working on a comeback. Today, it's time to check back on this documentary after almost 14 years of its release.
It's the final WWE Saturday Morning Slam episode to cover from this series and it's time to see if this series finale has any notable moments from it.
Only one more episode follows this as Saturday Morning Slam raps up its run after 9 months and 1 season overall on the air.
Over a year ago, I posted 2 episodes of the podcast that covered each season of Brooke Knows Best and I mentioned in the Season 2 episode that the series finale of the show wasn't available. Today, I've finally gotten the opportunity to discuss the episode now that ty0212 has forwarded the episode to me for viewing.
After JTwoH gave a suggestion over the abundance of 6-Person Tag Team Matches that have happened on PLEs over the last few years, I noticed a strange pattern with this subject as it pertains to WWF PPVs from the year of 2000.
Petitions become an odd focal point in a segment on this broadcast, no clue why it took place when it was completely pointless.
I was originally going to look at the "Bigger Stronger Faster" documentary for this episode, but that can wait. Wanted to finally talk about a topic that I haven't truly addressed in the last 2 years, the time DoubleZWWE got hacked in July 2022 on YouTube.
In November 1998, the Exposed! Pro Wrestling's Greatest Secrets TV special aired to give an inside look into the secrets of professional wrestling. Today, it's time to revisit that special here on the podcast.
It's time for a subject that feels rather random on this podcast, a look into the only surviving episode of a TV show known as Bingo Break from 1994. Why? Well, because this episode features 3 names that wrestling fans may recognize (2 more than the third individual) from this broadcast.
One match happens on this entire broadcast and it's between 2 guys that had no real direction during this time within their WWE careers.
3 matches in one show, feel weird to think about. Also, only 4 more episodes of this series are left to cover.
The Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows documentary is one of the most well-known wrestling documentaries, outside of Beyond The Mat and anything produced by WWE. Today, it's time to discuss this 25+ year old documentary that looks at Bret Hart's final year in the WWF.
Last week, I covered the week of episodes where Total Nonstop Action Wrestling appeared on Family Feud. Now, it's time to revisit when the WWF appeared on Family Feud for a week back in 1993.
We've seen many instances where professional wrestling does crossover work with game shows, as seen by the episodes I've done about the WWF appearing on Fear Factor and The Weakest Link. Today, it's time to look back at the 5 episodes involving TNA appearing on Family Feud.
Another Saturday Morning Slam review has arrived and we've got both members of Team Rhodes Scholars having singles matches on this episode.
The 2024 WWE Draft has concluded and it's time to discuss not only the results, but also the reason why I wasn't fond of what was presented this year.
