Sheriff Swanson has been a paramedic, police officer, and author all before becoming Sheriff and starting the I.G.N.I.T.E program. This program aims to help those incarcerated join access to comprehensive education, job certification, and post-incarceration work opportunities and assistance. It aims to take those incarcerated from Jail to Job and it truly a life changing program for those incarcerated, jail staff and the community.
