Mtali Shaka Banda is a Philosopher, Teacher, Storyteller, and Musician!!  He is a son of a Malawian refugee father and an African-American mother, he uses his music which exists outside of codified genres, balancing invention and tradition. Dave Hayes has been living in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts for almost 35 years. He has a passion for the weather since he was 12 years old, growing up in eastern Mass when he first saw Bob Copeland on WCVB Channel 5 reporting at noon on severe thunderstorms in the area. Soon enough, all the bright colors on the radar corresponded to some strong thunderstorms that moved overhead, and I was hooked.Dave now has over 42,000 Facebook followers since he started in 2011; he curates reliable and up-to-date reports on the Western Massachusetts region's weather, including southern Vermont, southwestern NH, the Taconics of eastern NY, northern CT, and central Massachusetts.
