In this audio version of our  This Week in MXA video series presented by O’Neal, Josh Mosiman highlights the 2023 KTM models that were just released and looks forward to our chance to test them out at the iconic RedBud track in Michigan next week. Plus, there's been a large game of musical chairs going on in the Pro racing world with news about Joey Savatgy and Jeremy Martin becoming official. Joey's plans for this summer are now confirmed and Jeremy's plans for 2023 have been inked as well. And, finally, we take a look back at the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross finale at Salt Lake City where Christian Craig claims the 250SX West coast title, Marvin Musquin and Cooper Webb trade paint and Justin Barcia takes out Malcolm Stewart.
Are modern day Supercross tracks becoming too dangerous? Is there something we can do to create even better racing and while limiting the chances for big crashes? Can we lessen the amount of injuries? Jett Lawrence has been crowned the 250 East Coast Champion one race early and he did it in convincing fashion, winning four of eight races so far and finishing on the podium all eight times. However, the rest of the field was supposed to be stacked with competition, but it quickly was depleted as riders were injured. Eric Phipps is the founder and owner of Works Connection, a well known in the motocross industry. In this interview, Eric explains his motive for starting Works Connection, how he was able to do it and he talks on some of the challenges of being an aftermarket part manufacturer. 
The Arlington Supercross provided more drama to the already exciting 2022 season. Unfortunately, the take-outs and crashes also resulted in injuries. In episode 62 of our This Week in MXA series presented by O’Neal, MXA’s Josh Mosiman dives into the take-outs from Round 8 and sheds some light on the difficulties of Supercross racing. 
The SX Global group was granted the rights to host the FIM World Supercross Championship when FELD Entertainment decided not to renew with the FIM. Now, with backing from Mubadala Capital, a large investment group with extensive experience in promoting live events around the world, the FIM World Championship has some real momentum behind it. MXA's Josh Mosiman joined Managing Directors Ryan Sanderson and Adam Bailey to learn all about this new World Championship.

After two Rounds of racing the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season, Shane McElrath has scored four great starts in his Heat races and Main Events that were either holeshots, or near holeshots. Running up front isn't new to Shane, he was a successful 250 rider, but the 450 class is a whole new challenge. In this interview, Shane talks about the differences between riding a 450 versus a 250 on Supercross, the tight racing that goes on at the front of the pack and his mindset moving into the next 15 Rounds of the series. 
In this interview we talked to Garrett Marchbanks of the ClubMX Yamaha team. This interview was done a couple weeks ago when Josh Mosiman was in South Carolina at the ClubMX facility.  It was impressive to see just see how big it is and is impressive for a factory Supercross rider or a privateer rider to go there and train. You could see how it has been beneficial to the ClubMX Yamaha team to make the riders successful. In this interview Garrett Marchbanks talks about the transition from Pro Circuit Kawasaki to ClubMX, his history at training there and more.
In this interview we talk with Red Bull KTM's Max Vohland. Max talks about what it was like leading at the Fox Raceway #2 National last season. He also talks about how he didn't test a lot on the KTM last season because he was just a rookie and was new to the 250 four stroke model and the team just wanted him to get comfortable. Max also talks about the new factory addition KTM 250SXF. We talked to him when it was about a month away from Anaheim 1 and he had only a few days on the bike so not a lot of experience on this new model yet for him but he was very optimistic about it. 
Motocross Action tests the 2022 GasGas MC 450F at Glen Helen Raceway. The GasGas hits 2022 with 0 changes to the bike. A small update has been added to the engine but beyond that, it is identical to the 2021 model. That leaves us with a ton of information for our viewers to learn about. Josh Mosiman breaks down the suspension, body, power, handling, performance, and more on the 2022 GasGas MC 450F in this video so you can make an educated decision on a new bike at the dealership. 
Justin Hill talks about taking a break from racing and becoming a Sheriff in his home state of Oregon. He also talks about becoming parent and eventually deciding to come back to racing AMA Supercross with the PRMX Kawasaki team.  
After winning the final Supercross of 2020 and then winning the 2020 450 National Championship, Zach Osborne came into the 2021 Supercross and motocross season with serious momentum. Unfortunately, injuries hindered his progress and almost pushed him into retirement. Then, after months of rehab, Zach was able to figure out his back injury and Rockstar Husqvarna was still searching for a 450 rider to compete alongside Malcolm Stewart and Dean Wilson. In this interview, Zach Osborne explains the process he went through for rehabbing his back, he talks about the interesting WP air shock he ran in Supercross, his plans to retire after next season and more.
