How often has someone asked you, ‘When are you gonna have a baby?’ It is such a personal question. We ask each other like asking to pass the salt at dinner. When I was younger, it was a common question. In this episode of the podcast, I am examining that question and sharing my decision regarding motherhood. Whether you are a mama, auntie, or another iteration of a mother, we have an opportunity to start a new conversation to normalize all the individual choices women make when it comes to becoming a mother. Send this episode to your squad, and let us keep the conversation going. If you haven’t already, take a moment to listen to my interview with author Jayne Allen. Her insights on this subject are powerful and insightful. Love and Light, Monica Wisdom, Host, Black Women Amplified Podcast Listen to past shows here:www.blackwomenamplified.com/podcastTo support our podcast and look fly, you can purchase merchandise here:www.blackwomenamplified.com/shopSupport the show (https://paypal.me/TeamBFFMonica?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US)

Hello Fam, We are all called to a greater purpose. We do not know what that is until the moment it happens. For me, it was like breathing when I walked into the position of a freedom fighter.   The biggest challenge was not being the mist of liberation, it was the after that took my life for a spin.   I am sharing a part of my story that has been deep in my heart for the last 4 years. Fighting for one belief is not romantic, it's a necessary challenge. As I tell you in each episode, it's important to archive our stories. Whether it's a book, journal, or podcast. Not only is it freeing, but it will help future generations to walk stronger into their purpose.      Ladies and the Gentlemen who love us, Episode 15.   Support the show (https://paypal.me/TeamBFFMonica?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US)
THE STORY OF ME

THE STORY OF ME

2022-03-1118:52

Good Day Queen, Hey Sis, we are a singular sensation connected through our shared experiences and humanity. Yet we are uniquely walking through the world with a unique blueprint called our story. Our story has value and is full of possibility and intrigue. It’s our force that propels society forward simply because we are here. In this podcast, we talk about archiving our stories. As generation X, we pushed forward with no blueprint or game plan. We just put our heads down and did the work to fulfill the promises of the civil rights movement, working to occupy spaces denied to us while  Filling them with dignity and innovation. We changed the world without writing it down. Now is the time to archive our journey and tell the story of the collective us and our journey. Hey Queen, We are at episode 12. Thank you for the support. In this episode we are going to kick it into high gear and talk about manifesting. I was asked a question that took me in to deep thinking mode. Of course I wanted to respond in a not so lady like way. but I choose to reflect. Adulting is not always fun. lol We are talking about not only the results of manifesting but that it is indeed real and is transforming lives daily. Even the Bible states in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Enjoy this episode and please share your manifesting stories on our Black Women Amplified Instagram page. Also I noticed that episodes 4 and 5 are not showing up on Apple, so you can listen via our website www.blackwomenamplifed.com/podcast. Thanks again for your support and please help spread our movement with your crew. Hey Sis, As a young girl, I always wanted to see the place where black folks came from.   I knew there was a story beyond slavery.  In 2005 or 6, I traveled to a magical place that fed my soul and connected me to the heart of our ancestors. I never knew that touching land could electrify my system like placing my feet on the ground when our people were born.  Enjoy this episode as I share another travel adventure. I flew across the Atlantic and landed on the shores of Ghana, West Africa. Not only did I meet amazing people, but I also met myself.  Please share with your tribe and leave a kind review.  My mission is to have our conversations shared with the world. Have an incredible day. In part one, I share some very personal stories of letting go. In part two I am sharing my process.   We all have our ways of doing what we do, but we can also learn from others as we expand our minds. If you are goal-setting, vision boarding, or if you are feeling stuck at this moment, then you will really get a lot out of episodes 8 and 9 of the Black Women Amplified podcast.
