Leaks of the Supreme Court's draft decision sent shockwaves across the nation, signaling the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade. The draft, which has not yet been released to the public, has reignited the debate over a woman’s right to choose. With the constitutional rights and women’s reproductive rights on both sides of the argument, it is evident that this is a pivotal moment in the abortion debate in America. In today’s episode, Jim and Dan talk about the leaked Supreme Court draft ruling on abortion. They will discuss how this draft decision has sparked protests and potential violence. They will also feature commentary from media, government officials, and the general public on the abortion issue. In This Episode02:07 - Draft of Supreme Court ruling on abortion rights leaked08:36 - Why abortion has now become a hot topic11:41 - Nancy Pelosi on the SCOTUS abortion draft ruling15:15 - The federal law about picketing outside Supreme Court justices' houses19:21- A warning about violence following the leak of the draft decision25:39 - What the January 6 protest has to do with the current protest29:05 - The Solicitor General's perspective on the draft abortion opinion35:15 - What people think and feel about abortion38:55 - What Jeff, the conspiracy analyst, has to say on the abortion issue47:19 - What Pfizer has to do with the current abortion debate53:50 - How to win a surprise gift from Dan54:35 - How to get more mind-blowing conspiracy theories from JeffFavorite Quotes05:43 - "Nowhere in this decision do they criminalize abortion. All they're saying is, 'look, Roe, got it wrong'. This is a state's issue and we're sending it back to the states. If the states want to make it legal, states can make it legal. If they want to make it illegal, they can make it illegal. That's up for the states to decide. That's not up for us to decide and Roe got it wrong." - Jim Larkin10:30 - "Should people stop swearing on the Bible when they're sworn in, and should they swear on a copy of the constitution? They swear on a Bible and they violate their oath. Does it matter what piece of paper they're swearing on? - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr.36:16 - "Pro-constitution does not mean pro-choice or pro-life. It means that no matter what your personal feelings or beliefs about abortion are, you understand that it's not the federal government's place to make a decision for another state about what they can and can't do with their legislatures." - Jim LarkinFollow the Pod Bless America Podcast on GETTREngage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comEmail: dan@pbapodcast.comFacebookListen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts

I mean, does Ukraine get something for every profile picture that has the banner around it? Police officers are the first line of defense against criminals and violence in society. They put their lives on the line every day, and often pay the ultimate sacrifice. Some call them heroes. We call them our friends, our family, and our neighbors. They are the men and women who put on the badge and risk everything to serve and protect their communities. In today's society, police officers are constantly under scrutiny. They are oftentimes accused of using excessive force, racism, and corruption. While one bad apple can ruin an entire bunch, the vast majority are honorable and hardworking people who are trying to make a difference. In today’s episode, Jim and Dan are joined by Holly Miktarian, wife of fallen officer Joshua T. Miktarian. Holly talks about Josh as the person behind the headline, the story behind what happened on the fateful day of July 13, 2008 that the media didn’t talk about, and how she keeps Josh's legacy alive.Enjoy! In This Episode03:29 - Josh Miktarian: The man behind the name of a fallen officer10:13 - That fateful day of July 13th, 200817:04 - The moments before Joshua fell lifeless to the ground30:04 - The day after Holly's husband was murdered35:18 - What concerned Holly today, despite the murderer's conviction42:37 - What caused Holly to leave the police force51:20 - How Saving a Hero's Place honors fallen police officers52:20 - How Holly keeps Josh's legacy alive1:02:31 - How Holly lived her life after the tragic incident01:08:35 - Holly's final wordsFavorite Quotes32:33 - "I have to say for a moment, a microsecond, I was raised Catholic and I was like, is this the right thing to do (death penalty)? And then I immediately go to the way he was killed and absolutely it's the right thing to do." - Holly Miktarian1:03:41 - "I distinctively remember after the funeral, when you just started to notice people leaving, my thought was I just don't want him to be forgotten. That's what fueled me. He shouldn't have died like he did. He didn't deserve that. He was just such a good guy." - Holly Miktarian1:04:35 - "There are so many people in the United States that suffer from losing their loved one. It's sad. But it's amazing that people are remembered." - Holy Miktarian1:08:43 - "There's so much more than just that uniform. They have families at home. They have people who care and love them. They have responsibilities. Hopefully, almost all of them are doing the best job that they can. There's no pay in the world that's enough for this job and certainly not enough to be killed doing this job. And I just think America can do better." - Holly Miktarian1:10:53 - "Every cop you see has a life. They are just like you, they just chose a career in public service. And when you see a cop that gets killed, it's easy to say, ah, it's just a cop, that's what he signed up for. No cop signs up to get murdered. We sign up because we believe in the rule of law. And I believe that there have to be rules to have a free society." - Jim Larkin1:12:43 - "This political climate, where they are waging war on the police is getting cops killed. It's emboldening the criminals to think they can do what they want to the police and it's making the police second guess having to kill a black man. They don't even wanna pull the pistol. No, that's exactly it. You want to try to deescalate. That's the new code word. Let's deescalate everything." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr.How to get involvedClick HERE to support and apply for scholarships at the Joshua T. The Florida House Bill 1557, popularly known as the "Don't Say Gay" bill, continues to stir controversy. The bill has been criticized by advocates of the LGBTQ community as discriminatory, while others believe that this gives parents the right to know what their children are being taught in school and that it would help protect their children from being exposed to gender ideology at a young age. As the "Don't Say Gay" bill has brought to light many questions about free speech and LGBTQ+ rights, is the bill oppressing gender expression or does it give parents the basic right to raise their children? In today’s episode, Jim and Dan talk about how the mask mandates are still a topic of great interest, what Jen Psaki has to say about Florida's Parental Rights in Education Bill, and why Elon Musk no longer owns the largest stake in Twitter.Enjoy! In This Episode02:53 - What to look forward to in future episodes of the Pod Bless America Podcast06:45 - How the mask mandates are still a topic of great interest12:15 - Jen Psaki to leave White House for MSNBC15:07 - What Jen Psaki has to say about Florida's Parental Rights in Education Bill21:30 - Jim's trip to Florida for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in 202324:52 - Psaki's interpretation of the Parental Rights in Education Bill30:41 - How Nicolle Wallace accuses Ron DeSantis and Glenn Youngkin of dehumanizing people as a political strategy37:07 - Why Elon Musk no longer owns the largest stake in Twitter54:05- The story of Taylor Lorenz and Libs of TikTokFavorite Quotes24:53 - "California, New York, everybody should reverse course and say, hey, come on back. If you want a bunch of teachers teaching your six-year-old about sex and sexual identity, and you know what, telling your six-year-old son that he can be a girl, come on back. We got the teachers for you. They're all here waiting. You know who's not going to come back, every single person who lives in Florida" - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr.33:19 - "If these kids feel like they want to be transgender, that is an issue for the parents to take care of. Those kids can go and those parents can nurture them and they can love them and they can bring them up and tell them, look, you are okay. But you know who can't do that? The teachers. The teachers are not allowed to take your kid and say, you can be like this it's okay. And you know what? Despite all the attention focused on the general election, the primary election is really what matters. Primaries are a better representation of voter sentiment and what issues people really care about. This is democracy in action, every vote counts and the people have a say in who represents them. This is why it's so important for people to vote in the primaries - because that's when the real decisions are made.In today’s episode, Jonah Schulz, a 26-year-old Republican candidate for Ohio's 7th Congressional District, joins Jim and Dan for the second time. They will talk about the upcoming primary election and the qualities to look for in a candidate, what it takes to be a public servant, and why voting in the primary election is what really matters.Enjoy! In This Episode01:36 - How several states took part in the 2020 primaries05:49 - A look at the Ohio gubernatorial candidates11:45 - The qualities to look for in a candidate14:09 - How Jonah's campaign is going18:43 - What Jonah hears from people as he goes door-to-door22:50 - What it takes to be a public servant32:58 - Jonah's perspective on why primary elections matter40:56 - 2022 Primary Elections by state and territory58:43 - Why Jim cares so much about the primariesFavorite Quotes04:16 - "If you don't go out and vote in this primary, you lose any right you think you have to complain about your government. You don't get to complain." - Jim Larkin12:38 - "I think the guys that you need to be seeking out are the men and women, the new generation that is sick of everything they've seen happening, that are sick of what they see is going on, that aren't tainted by big money, that have no desire to go to big money, and that are willing to limit themselves to terms. That's who you should be looking for." - Jim Larkin20:32 - "We need to participate in our primary process. Because as we're going through these communities, going door to door, there are lots of Republicans, but there's a very small percentage, less than half of these Republicans that are voting in our primaries." - Jonah Schulz20:49 - "You begin to realize why you have so many awful options come the general election so often is because the people are not exercising their political power in the primaries to actually elect these citizen candidates and people who will stand firm in their convictions." - Jonah Schulz29:27 - "If we had a country full of people that were seeking to educate themselves, that were seeking to be engaged and were just seeking to obtain more knowledge and understanding of the truth, we wouldn't be facing most of the problems that we're facing right now. We'd probably have some great politicians and have some great public servants." - Jonah Schulz31:39 - "When it comes to the idea that an individual should be making their own healthcare decisions, not the government or corporations, that stuff is common sense. So much of this is very base-level stuff that we've just gotten out of touch with. And I think most people are starting to see that we're living in this kind of bizarre world where everything is operating backward." - Jonah Schulz34:12 - "We have to be able to look past the money and be engaged because so often the people who are engaged in the primary process are those more established groups and individuals who want to push certain candidates who will do the bidding of those groups, of those corporations, of those special interests." - Jonah Schulz36:00 - "The primary season is the only way out. Taking these rhinos out is the only way out of this cycle. The primary season is the only way out of this oligarchy that we are currently living under. Grooming has lately become a buzzword as Governor Ron DeSantis signed the historic bill to protect parental rights in education. The House Bill 1557, also known as Parental Rights in Education, is dubbed by critics the “Don’t Say Gay” bill and by proponents as an “Anti-grooming” bill. The legislation, which reinforces parents’ fundamental rights to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children, has drawn national criticism especially among LGBTQ+ organizations. With so much controversy over how early gender ideology should be taught to children, are Kindergartners and Third Graders ready to cope with gender identity and sexual orientation, or is it a path that may lead them to confusion? In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about Florida House Bill 1557 - Parental Rights in Education, how schools are shaping kids' minds with gender ideologies, and how Disney's current leadership is killing the magic.Enjoy! In This Episode01:01 - Florida House Bill 1557: What it is and how it works11:23 - A real-life example of how kids are taught gender ideology in school14:06 - What’s the Washington Post's take on the issue21:24 - How schools are shaping kids' minds with gender ideologies28:45 - How Ohio Bill 616 relates to Florida House Bill 155731:45 - How Disney's current leadership is killing the magic41:48 - How Disney executive management pushes their gender agenda on kidsFavorite Quotes13:16 + 18:42 - "These schools are getting out of control, thinking they can raise your kids better than you can raise your kids. I don't want her coming home at five years old asking me if she can be a boy or asking me what transgender is. I want her to be a kid. I want her to come home. I want her to play with her dolls, or I want her to play with earthworms. Whatever she wants to do, I want her to be able to do, figure it out on her own, and with guidance from me, not the school." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr.20:15 - "Just because I might not agree with it (gender orientation or sexuality), that doesn't mean I lose my right to parent my kid. That doesn't mean that you as a school, as a government entity have a right to take over raising my child. That's absolute insanity." - Jim Larkin24:04 - "If your kid gets around somebody who's gay, they're gonna be gay. That's not how it works. I believe that it is inside you, that as you get older you decide. But not at age five. They would figure it out. But what I don't need is outside influences in their most impressionable years, pushing this on them" - Jim Larkin25:30 - "Give the parents the right to parent their kids the way they see fit. If you don't see fit to talk to your kids about LGBT issues at five or six years old, that does not make you a bigot. That doesn't make you a bad parent." - Jim Larkin39:19 - "99% of the girls that go to Disney want to be a princess. I am telling you that, I've been there. I've seen it. They wanna go and they want their magical time to be a princess. So, for you (Disney President Karey Burke) to sit there and say, 'well, we're not gonna assume they wanna be a princess". I mean, sure there's some of it in there to keep the government going, but the amount of stuff in here has nothing to do with keeping the government going." - Jim Larkin48:04 + 41:20 - "People need to know where this money's going, it's ridiculous. $1.3 billion, for the Bureau of Land Management? You want to save right now $1.3 billion for this country? Show me in the constitution where the Bureau of Land Management is authorized. I'm not talking for 30 minutes. I'm talking years, years until we can get the parts to get things up and running again. You thought this would never happen. You thought my comfortable life in America is never gonna change. And you didn't prepare. And estimates are, without power in this country that 90% of the population dies within the first few years. And the Amish have no idea what happened, right? The Amish are at home. You guys are having problems. Exactly." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr.02:43 - "I don't want a judge who is lenient on criminals. We're having a problem in this country right now with lawlessness. Things are outta control in this country and we need judges that are finally gonna lay down the law." - Jim Larkin06:47 - "If you have a judge here who cannot protect and cannot stand up for the most vulnerable in our society, do you think she's gonna stand up for your second amendment rights? Do you think she's gonna stand up for your fourth amendment rights?" - Jim Larkin13:57 - "You live your life the way you wanna live it. Same with the constitution. I don't have a problem with you exerting your rights until those rights infringe on somebody else's rights." - Jim Larkin59:38 - "You cannot sit out in the primary. Founded on the principles of liberty and equality, the Constitution is a living document that defines the foundation of our government and the rights and freedoms of every American. It is a testament to the founding fathers' belief in democracy. Upholding the Constitution and protecting it from those who would seek to undermine it are absolutely important. In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan are joined by Sheriff Mark Lamb. They will talk about Sheriff Lamb's stance on the constitution, the truth about what's happening at the US border, and how religion played an important role in Sheriff Lamb's life. Sheriff Mark Lamb is the 24th Sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona. As a constitutional conservative, he has strong convictions and is courageous in fighting for the citizens he serves. This modern world wants to minimize and demonize those same values and traditions that this country was built off." - Sheriff Mark Lamb14:12 - "I have a very screw-it-do-it attitude sometimes. So, I was just like screw it and let's do it. We started running and I knew nothing about politics. So, I gambled on the fact that the guy that I was going to run against was going to run for Congress." - Sheriff Mark Lamb15:09 - "We surround ourselves with people that don't have a chance. Those are the people that we need in leadership positions now, people that aren't politicians, that don't pledge allegiance to the system. They pledge allegiance to the people. That's who we need." - Jim Larkin24:20 - "We are in a day and age where they want to believe that mandates and orders would supersede anything else. And it just isn't true. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and it is what I swore an oath to defend. And I wish that every law enforcement officer had the same mindset that we're going to do what the constitution said." - Sheriff Mark Lamb29:13 - "At one point, the way this country is pushing and the federal government's pushing, it's going to a point where the states are likely going to have to take a stand against the federal government on things like this." - Sheriff Mark Lamb39:02 - "For any of your listeners out there, it should not matter whether you are a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent, if you care about human beings, you should absolutely care about border security. Cartels are abusing people on a daily basis. They raped the women. They use the children as pawns, children who they steal and purchase at the threat of violence on the other side of the border. They cast them aside like a used pair of shoes when they get here. They extort the men and force the women to carry drugs in this country. Eight of 10 women who come across the border are raped. This is not the American way. Anybody who condones this under the name of politics, because the president you voted for is okay with these open borders, needs your moral compass check." - Sheriff Mark Lamb48:58 - "I believe that everything about God is freedom and liberty - freedom of choice, the ability to make those choices for ourselves or whether we exalt ourselves. One of the two, that choice was given to us and I think it's a godly principle." - Sheriff Mark Lamb49:19 - "I support anybody's right to have the religion they want. And I believe that you have to have an anchor in your life. I think that having a good religion, a good base, a good belief in God is probably one of the best anchors that I've seen, especially in this profession that keeps you grounded, keeps you focused, keeps you being able to process the things that we see that nobody else should see but we see it over and over again. And for me my religion, my faith in God and Jesus Christ has been what's guided me through all that." - Sheriff Mark Lamb1:11:41 - "This world is hungry for authentic people. This world needs leaders. Not everybody wants to be great. It needs people that want to be great, but we all have different DNA, different irises, and different fingerprints that were by design. God sent each and every person here with a different set of skills and talents and it's your job to share it with the world." - Sheriff Mark Lamb1:12:45 - "Depression, anxiety, and unhappiness in this world comes from people who are trying to control an outcome that you just don't have any control over. One form of government that is often up for debate is communism. There have been a lot of discussions about this type of system and whether or not it is a viable way to govern a country. Some people believe it is the best way, whereas others think it would be a disaster. The idea of everyone being equal sounds great on paper, but it does not work in the real world. In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan are joined by Claudiu Ganea. My kids are going to high school and the high school teachers are teaching my kid that communism's a way to go. Maybe we set up a communism camp and they get to go and they sign off on the waivers then they're like, look you understand your kids are gonna starve for two weeks. Right? Because the kids are going to walk in there going, I heard this is great. You send your kid to Claudiu for a month and they get 1200 calories. They come home and you can see their ribs. Every time they ask for more food, he hits them in the balls of their feet. I give him a glass of water if they are hungry. A glass of water." - Jim Larkin, Dan Wilkinson Jr, and Claudiu Ganea1:09:38 - "What makes us exceptional here (USA) is our constitution. That’s what makes us exceptional. Nobody else has a constitution as we have. Nobody has the freedom of speech that we have. Nobody has the right to bear arms that we have. Nobody has the right to not self -incriminate against search and seizure that we have." - Jim Larkin1:11:21- "The USA is one of the best countries in the world. You can grow up here. You can have everything. You have the constitution, it's good. Hold the hands on your guns. Don't let them take them away from you. You have rights. You have freedom of speech. The U.S. political system is in need of some serious change and the best way to do that is by voting in the primaries. It allows you to choose the candidate who represents your values. Isn't the general election good enough? Your vote counts more in the primary than in the general election! In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Joe Blystone joins Jim and Dan to talk about the Ohio governor's race. They will discuss what motivated Joe to run for governor, what his policies are, and how to make Ohio great again. Joe Blystone is a Republican candidate for Governor of Ohio. He believes in the American dream; hard work, prosperity, freedom for all, and the opportunity to build your path to success. Joe believes every Ohioan has a birth right to this path leading to the pursuit of happiness. He wants to restore freedoms that the government has taken away.  Enjoy! In This Episode01:03 - What motivated Joe Blystone to run for office 04:33 - Among Joe's major political policies 08:57 - How the constitution is being ignored 09:43 - How Joe will respond if the government attempts to block funding for his noncompliance with their mandates 15:50 - What made Joe pick Jeremiah Workman as his running mate 19:04 - Joe's stance on constitutional carry 22:41 - Joe's third policy: Preserve the Sanctity of Life 28:34 - How Joe plans to manage state spending 31:47 - How Joe’s agricultural community teaches young adults and children the value of hard work 36:49 - Why voting in the primary is the best time to make a change 40:08 - How to help Joe Blystone raise funds 43:26 - Joe's position on the vax mandate 48:33 - How Ohio got involved with election fraud 53:04 - Joe Blystone's final words on making Ohio great again Favorite Quotes04:51 - "And I'm surprised how many people here the last couple years would lay their rights down and just expect the government to tell them what to do, where to do it, and how to do it. That scares the heck out of me because that's going down the path that we don't want to go down." - Joe Blystone 02:07 - "Many people, they're tired, they're worried about their children, their grandchildren. Are they gonna have the opportunities that you and I have grown up to love and respect, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in this great country? But we see that disappearing really fast." - Joe Blystone 35:33 - "Here's a sad part, I've been all around this state, talked to thousands of people, and there are so many people they don't know who their representative is in the house, they don't know who their representative is in the Senate, and they don't know how a bill gets into a committee or how it gets passed and gets around to the governor's desk. They are just totally blind." - Joe Blystone 44:10 - "You as a parent should be deciding if your children should be getting a vaccine or not, not your school, not your governor and not your job. Nobody should have their job held hostage for a vaccine or not." - Joe Blystone Learn more about Joe BlystoneWebsiteTwitterFacebookInstagram Follow the Pod Bless America Podcast on GETTR Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts
When you think about the heroes of the pandemic, who comes to mind? Nurses? Doctors? Scientists? While all of these people are certainly important, there is another group of unsung heroes that deserve recognition: truckers. Truckers have been on the front lines of this pandemic since day one, and they have played a critical role in keeping the country running.  But when Canadian truckers began protesting against the vaccine mandate, the media was quick to label them as terrorists. Is this an accurate portrayal of these individuals? Or are they, in fact, misunderstood heroes?  In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about how the media characterizes truckers protesting as terrorists, why Defiant Ls is Jim’s next favorite, and what the media says about Donald Trump's spy claims. Enjoy! In This Episode01:29 - Why truckers protesting are not terrorists 04:06 - How the media characterizes truckers protesting as terrorists while defending groups that literally burn down American cities 09:31 - The Defiant Ls: Getting to know them and why they were suspended on Twitter 14:04 - Hillary Clinton's account of the Trump-Russia connection 19:12 - Media clips about Donald Trump's spy claims 21:35 - The conspiracy behind the Quintez Brown case Favorite Quotes05:18 - "Yeah, they're blocking traffic but they're not burning cities down. They're not shooting people. But they're going against the narrative. They're going against the establishment and they're bringing attention to it. That's the worst thing for them. I mean really, did you know what Canada was doing with these mandates before this? No. But the world does now." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr. 03:00 - "During the lockdowns truckers were heroes, they were delivering all our goods. Now they're terrorists, absolute terrorists. Every one of them. They went from being an essential worker to essentially not needed." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr. Follow the Pod Bless America Podcast on GETTR Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts
Joe Biden made history by promising to name a black woman to the highest court during his presidential campaign. With Justice Stephen Breyer set to retire soon, Biden is expected to fulfill the promise he first made in South Carolina. Some are thrilled at the prospect of having a more diverse Supreme Court, while others feel that he is pandering to black voters. As the battle over the next justice for the Supreme Court ignites debate on race and representation, what perspectives do you hold on the issue? In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about Joe Biden’s nominees to the Supreme Court. They will highlight what people think about the SCOTUS pick, how they feel about it, and how the federal government is unceasingly failing the country. Be sure to check out more of Pod Bless America’s content and episodes on GETTR. Enjoy! In This Episode00:59 - Joe Biden's remarks about appointing a successor to the Supreme Court 6:47 - A look back at the days when Justice Breyer was born 10:35 - What Justice Stephen Breyer feels about retiring 14:25 - PBS article about the 3 judges Biden may be considering for the Supreme Court 21:44 - Critics' arguments against the SCOTUS pick 25:23 - How people feel about Biden's nominees 29:14 - How the federal government has gotten worse 33:43 - What Facebook did with the Pod Bless America ads and why you need a Gettr account Favorite Quotes26:59 - "Conservatives do have a problem with this. We have a problem with it because you've just excluded everybody, everybody in the country from being a Supreme court justice because you're gonna pick up a black woman. I don't care if it's a black woman. But put her up against the white guy, put her up against the Hispanic chick, put her up against my Tongan girl and let's take the best one. Let's take who's gonna do the best job. Not because she's black and not because she's a woman." - Jim Larkin 11:57 - "He (Justice Breyer) would have liked to have announced his retirement at the end of the term, which would be June or July. That's pushed way too close to the midterms. And in the midterms, you have 34 Senate seats up in November, 20 Republicans, 14 Democrats. And if they lose the house, they lose the Senate, it's all Republican-controlled now. And then he retires, with zero chance that there's a nominee getting through." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr. 27:50 - He (Joe Biden) needs to do something to get those people back in. They need something right now to try to bring them back in, to get those votes because they know they're about to get wrecked in May and probably November." - Jim Larkin 29:24 - "Every candidate should be solely vetted on their writings and their decisions as it relates to the United States Constitution. It shouldn't matter what color you are. It shouldn't matter what sex you are. Whoever is the most constitutional candidate should get the nod." - Jim Larkin Follow the Pod Bless America Podcast on GETTR Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts
The trucker protest has been making headlines around the world. Canadian truckers blocked the nation's busiest border crossing between the U.S. and Canada in protest of the mandatory vaccine policy imposed on the Canadian truckers returning from the USA. With the disruption of the crucial trade links between the two countries, how can the US government prepare itself for future risks? In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about the trucker’s protest against the vaccine mandate. They'll discuss how the Canadian government views and responds to the protest, and what impact the so-called Freedom Convoy has had on the supply chain. Enjoy! In This Episode01:05 - Why truckers are striking 02:37 - People's response to the Toronto Star poll 05:08 - What the counselor of Ottawa City has to say about the protest 11:00 - Why the government won't give in to the protesters 16:19 - What the chief of police has to say about the protest 20:43 - Justin Trudeau's response to the protest 28:31 - The Ontario Superior Court's ruling on the noise barrage 33:29 - What the Inter-Pacific Specialized Transport & Crane Services has decided about the government’s request for towing the trucks 40:49 - Taking down the trucker's communication system Favorite Quotes18:02 - "It's a peaceful protest. There's no violence. These truckers are just showing up. They're laying on their horns. They're blocking the roads, which over here block the streets, and manage disorderly conduct. That's all it is, certainly not insurrection. And they (government) are moving to cut off their money, their fuel, their food, any supplies coming into them, and that makes me feel like they're not gonna come in with the intent to negotiate." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr. 44:45 - "When people are fed up, they're fed up. When they see something that works, they're gonna go down that road and take it. " - Dan Wilkinson Jr. 45:35 - "What I hope happens is America sees what's happening in Canada and gets ahead of it. I don't care if they want to do a victory dance on COVID. I want Joe Biden to be like, we did it! People don't know what's in the constitution. They don't know what the government is allowed to do. I'll tell you what the government is not allowed to do about 90% of what the government is doing. Their authority in the constitution is few and defined. They do not have the authority to be doing what they're doing." - Jim Larkin 1:06 - "Joe Biden is unconstitutional. He's admitting that the eviction moratorium is unconstitutional. But they're going to keep doing it until the Supreme Court tells him they can't do it." - Jim Larkin 1:47 -"All those people that feel disenfranchised now don't trust the elections. You can not stop voting. If you stop voting, you are giving them a legitimate victory at this point. You can't give up on the process. But if we aren't turning out to vote, then they're going to win legitimately. They're going to win strictly on numbers alone." - Jim Larkin 2:20 - "I am not anti-vax. I believe in vaccines and I believe in Science. You can be pro-vax and also pro-medical freedom. You do what's right for you. You do what you think is right for you and right for your family. If you choose not to do it, you should not be forced with losing your livelihood and not being able to provide for your family because you're making a decision that you think is best for you and your family." - Jim Larkin 3:04 - "Whether you have the vaccine or you don't have the vaccine, you better be standing up for freedom right now. You can not separate yourself and say, 'that's for those people, not me' because one day it's going to be you.  If you don't stand up right now and you don't take a stand against the government, you don't have any reason at all to complain about it." - Jim Larkin 3:56 - "We have failed our founders and that we don't care anymore. Apathy has taken over and you think somebody's going to save you? You think that the one Congressman that you elect is gonna go in there and he's gonna save you? Well, I got news for you. Not only is he not going to save you, but your Congressman is also actively working against you. Your Congressman is working for his own good. He is working for reelection. Your Congressman is working for those dollars coming in from the lobbyist. It is up to you to save yourself. And how you gonna save yourself is this May, in the primaries." - Jim Larkin 5:24 - "You can say almost anything. And the left is labeling you a racist, a white extremist. I'm sure I'm an extremist right now because I believe in the constitution and you can't deny that. The fact that I want to have an opinion that is different from the left should not affect my employment, should not affect my kids in school, and shouldn't get docked. I shouldn't have people coming to my house. It's absolutely ludicrous that this is happening." - Jim Larkin 5:54 - "We gotta get back to conservative values. We gotta get back to what made this country great. And then we can start compromising. We've gotten so far to the left. We need to bring it back." - Jim Larkin 6:22 - "Think about the last time we were all together, when we stood for the same, it was 9-11. I thought the coronavirus itself, when it broke out, was going to give us that same sort of stand together against. But it totally didn't. It made it worse." - Dan Wilkinson Jr. 6:41 - "The government divided us into two more groups. So now it's not just black and white, gay and straight, conservative and liberal. It's not lefties and right-wing. It's now vaccinated and unvaccinated, mask and no mask." - Jim Larkin 7:31 - "The media absolutely is the fourth arm of the democratic government. The media is the propaganda arm of the federal government. And they're going to make sure that Joe Biden does not look to be in a bad light." - Jim Larkin 8:25 - "I think that's exactly what you need to do with the woke left. You can sit back and you can let them change everything that's important to America. Everything that's important to you your whole life. You can have them take the ‘Christ’ out of Christmas. You can have them take the pilgrims out of Thanksgiving. And you could sit back and be quiet about it because you're scared that you're going to be labeled something or you could stand up and you could fight against this woke mob and you could take this country back and the things that are important to this country." - Jim Larkin 8:57 - "So the woke mob is trying to control more than the government. The woke mob is trying to control what we can say, what we can't say, and how we say it. Conservatives are afraid to speak out against the left because they're going to be labeled racist and they're going to be labeled an extremist. And as soon as the woke mob gets a hold of that, now they're gonna attack you. They're gonna attack your job. They're going to attack your livelihood. They're gonna attack your family. And they're gonna try to cancel everything that you've ever been or ever worked for. " - Jim Larkin 10:09 - "Having a constitutional sheriff I think is more important to everybody with each election. I think when people elect you, they're not electing you based on your fiscal policies or anything other than the fact that where you are with the constitution." - Jim Larkin 10:48 - "I think the way to win this country back is through state governments. I think the way to win it back is to send people that understand state sovereignty and are willing to stand up to the federal government and say, ‘not today’." - Jim Larkin 11:56 - "Our founders right now would be rolling over. I mean, if they were all brought back to life for a month and they saw 81-year-old Nancy Pelosi running off the mouth like this, I can assure you that muskets would be loaded." - Jim Larkin 12:16 - "The United States of America that I know is not systematically racist. I know a lot of cops, a thousand of them. I don't know a racist cop. Every cop I know is doing the right thing. If you're a black guy and you got a gun and you're up to no good with it, you're going to get arrested. If you're a white guy and you got a gun and you're up to no good with it, you're going to get arrested." - Jim Larkin 13:50 - "And now you're saying, 'Well you know what, primaries don't matter. I'm going to vote in the general. That's the one that matters.' But by the time you get to the general, you got two bad candidates. So we continue to elect the same bad candidates who are in it for themselves, except in all this lobbyist money. They're not in it for you anymore. They're in it just to make leviathan get bigger and more powerful until you can't stop them. And that's where we're at right now." - Jim Larkin 14:47 - "So the country knows that there's a problem. The country knows that the government is dividing us and it's getting worse, but we can't get a third party off the ground? 82% know this, and we're gonna keep voting for the Republicans, we're gonna keep voting for the Democrats? And we know what they're doing to us? If you take that 82% and put them all into a third party, we take the power away from the Republicans and the Democrats." - Jim Larkin 15:56 - "She (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) is the poster child of the CDC until she gets to Florida and stars in a 'Congresswoman Gone Wild'. She's been in a packed venue with no mask on, having a great time, loving the beach, leaving her whole state of New York, and just coming down and vacationing in beautiful Florida. Problem is that she got caught." - Jim Larkin and Jim Wilkinson Jr. 17:06 - "There are a lot of people out there that have the vaccine that are still against this mandate. They understand freedom and they understand liberty. They're willing to lose their jobs, even though they've vaccinated because they believe so strongly in individual liberty." - Jim Larkin 17:52 - “When does this stop? When do we finally just say, 'My God, you put your hand on the Bible to uphold the constitution and your entire presidency is nothing but end games around the constitution. He knows he can't do it himself so he's having other people do his bidding. It's disgusting. He's imploring social media companies as a sense of Americans is what it comes down to. It is. And on his behalf." - Jim Larkin and Dan Wilkinson Jr. 18:20 - "So that's their thinking. We're gonna lock you up, you're gonna be forced to detox. But here's the problem; so you detox but you don't get the mental help you need to fight the addiction, to understand the addiction, and to break free of that addiction. So when you get out, what's the first thing you do to celebrate? They go back and they use the amount they were using before they went to prison. Other bodies can't handle it. Boom! Done. It's been called a war, and it's been going on for decades. The war on drugs has claimed thousands of lives, cost billions of dollars, and yet we are no closer to winning it. The prohibition of drugs creates more problems than it solves, and the criminalization of drugs only makes things worse. Why can’t we win this war? What can be done to finally bring it to a close? In today’s episode of Pod Bless America, Jim and Dan talk about the war on drugs. They will share their perspective on legalizing marijuana, the impact of decriminalizing drug users, and the government’s response to marijuana legalization. Jeff, the conspiracy analyst, will also speak about how Joe Biden handled the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement Act. Enjoy! In This Episode1:29 - Why the war on drugs is a losing battle3:43 - How the war on drugs started7:54 - The conspiracy theory behind the war on drugs11:25 - Jim's perspective on drug laws and how he enforces them17:53 - Why jail is not the solution for drug addicts19:09 - Why America cannot decriminalize drug users the way Portugal did26:27 - Jim's thoughts on legalizing marijuana35:31 - Jeff’s view on the government's response to marijuana legalization43:08 - A quick look at the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act47:24 - Drawing a line between guns and drugs Favorite Quotes15:21 - "So that's their thinking. And even though I do in my heart believe that it should be legal, it is a law. It's not unconstitutional. The states have a right to do what they want to do. and I will enforce that law." - Jim Larkin 18:30 - "Now you made the conscious decision the first time to try it (heroin). The right to liberty is a fundamental right that is enshrined in the United States Constitution. This right protects citizens from being forced to do anything against their will. The vaccine mandate, on the other hand, has been causing controversy as it is clearly an attempt to compromise this right.  In a stunning turn of events, the Supreme Court has ruled that the COVID vaccine mandate is unconstitutional. This is a major win for freedom and individual liberty. In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about the Supreme Court’s ruling on vaccine mandate, how the federal government is trampling on first amendment rights, and the way the Biden administration is dividing the country. Also featured in this episode are a few audio clips, including Joe Biden's past speech about uniting America, yet his actions today undermine the constitution and create division. In This Episode1:03 - SCOTUS ruling on vaccine mandate 2:30 - How vaccine mandates are leading to job losses 5:13 - How bold thinkers like Shane Hazel are being muzzled on social media 9:57 - What the government does to trample on first amendment rights 15:03 - How Joe Biden talks about unity, but his actions are dividing the country 18:50 - Kamala Harris's reaction to the 2024 election 24:54 - What the SCOTUS ruling demonstrates about the 10th amendment 32:12 - How Joe Rogan lit a spark both in mainstream media and on social media 38:42 - What people on the opposite side think of the SCOTUS ruling on the vax mandate Favorite Quotes13:13 - “When does this stop? There is nothing in the constitution that gives you the right to mandate private companies, to force vaccines on their employees." - Jim Larkin 39:04 - "The people that are on the opposite, they believe that those (SCOTUS) judges are Republican judges, that it's all partisan. Hypocrisy is something that has been happening for centuries and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. The last few weeks have been riddled with fear-mongering and lies coming from our leaders about what needs to happen for this country. We're in an era where hypocrisy is king without any consequences - and it will continue until we find a way to change the system. In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about a variety of topics including Chuck Schumer’s stance on voter suppression, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Joe Rogan being canceled on Twitter, Eric Swalwell’s view on midterm election, and Dr. Fauci’s on the COVID isolation protocol. Enjoy! In This Episode1:37 - What Chuck Schumer has to say about the filibuster 5:45 - The drawback of the For the People Act, Title 1: Election Access 11:43 - Chuck Schumer on voter suppression 14:39 - How AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) ends up 2021 even dumber than she started 22:51 - How Marjorie Taylor Greene's ban from major social media platforms is jeopardy to the first amendment 29:34 - Eric Swalwell on why the midterm election is the most important election of our lifetime 37:57 - How Fauci's statement on the isolation protocol is no longer about public safety 41:42 - Why Joe Rogan got canceled on Twitter Favorite Quotes15:07 - "She (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) is the poster child of the CDC until she gets to Florida and stars in a 'Congresswoman Gone Wild'. Problem is that she got caught." - Jim Larkin 23:23 - "The simple fact that she (Marjorie Taylor Greene) is not following the narrative and she's getting kicked off of major social media platforms, that should scare everybody. Because if you're not following the narrative, now you're gonna be in jeopardy of losing your voice." - Jim Larkin 39:36 - "So they're saying (CDC) that now it's (COVID) not so deadly that we can't be open. So all you, business owners out there who lost your business during the first lockdown, what do you guys think about this? What do you think about the fact that now it's not deadly? This is exactly why nobody trusts Fauci and nobody trusts the CDC anymore. This is exactly why the government should have stayed out of it from the start and let the CDC do what the CDS do and just let them be independent." - Jim Larkin Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts
The American people are aware that the government is dividing the country. The two-party system has failed to provide a clear representation of the people and instead created a country divided by red and blue states. However, there may be hope on the horizon. Though third parties have always struggled to make any headway in the two-party system, they have the potential to disrupt the Republican-Democrat duopoly. And now is their chance to change history. In today’s episode of the Pod Bless America Podcast, Jim and Dan talk about the numbers behind the US political parties, what it takes for independent parties to gain seats, and why breaking the two-party system remains an uphill battle. Enjoy! In this Episode1:48 - The numbers behind the US political parties 5:11 - How a third party may be able to dominate the two-party system 11:15 - Why independent parties must be absolutely independent 14:30 - What it takes for independent parties to get a seat 17:28 - What makes people say that a third party is like a swarm of bees 21:50 - The first step towards government reform 26:05 - Why independent parties still have a hill to climb 30:05 - Why nobody trusts the CDC anymore Favorite Quotes"So the country knows that there's a problem. Because every election cycle, we get to have a face in a name." - Dan Wilkinson Jr. "If we could get everybody on board with an independent party and we could push the Democrats and the Republicans out of the fringes or at least give us 33% share, politics changes." - Jim Larkin "We need to quit buying into the stuff that the social media and the government is pushing on us. We need to start treating each other right and then we can move on into this. We're never going to be able to get a third party if we stay so divided." - Jim Larkin "Start finding these younger generations that are sick of these older generations running this country into the ground. And they know it's time for a change. These are the young guys that are coming up that believe in term limits" - Jim Larkin Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts

I'm going to vote in the general. That's the one that matters.' But the time you get to the general, you got two bad candidates. So we continue to elect the same bad candidates who are in it for themselves, except in all this lobbyist money. They're not in it for you anymore. They're in it just to make leviathan get bigger and more powerful until you can't stop them. And that's where we're at right now." - Jim Larkin "The Republicans and Democrats are going to destroy this country and there's going to come to a point where we need to break away. And the third party is the way to do it." - Jim Larkin "There is a higher power that gives you rights as a human being that cannot be taken away by government. So I don't know if I'm necessarily opposed to them saying that the constitution was created from inspiration from God. I'm not the most religious guy, but I don't have a problem with that." - Jim Larkin "People have gotten away. Morality has gotten away. You can't argue the fact that you take the church out of society and society goes Sodom and Gomorrah. I'm not the most religious guy, but I do believe that the 10 commandments are a good way to live your life." - Jim Larkin "The way to win this country back is through the states. You need to start getting rid of the dead weight and your state legislatures start electing legislators that understand state sovereignty who are willing to stand up to the federal government." - Jim Larkin Check out and engage with the Independent American PartyWebsiteFacebookTwitter Engage with Pod Bless America PodcastEmail: jim@pbapodcast.comFacebook Listen to more episodes of the Pod Bless America PodcastApple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts
