I’ve loved you both & the show for years, but you care WAY too much what others think. I get it- you’re on a public platform & have responsibilities, but discernment IS important (as you’ve learned per the convo in this episode). You’re both conscientious people & while we all know language is important & evolving, tiptoeing around everyone’s feelings on a constant basis is exhausting & isn’t fair to do to yourself. You have a great thing going here- don’t overthink so much! Happy spooky season.

Good episode, except the eating. Dear Lord, please stop eating while you're talking! It does not translate well into earbuds.

They're not the worst podcast, and I won't fault the one for drinking milkshakes...if I didn't drink liquor, maybe it would be my choice to. All I WILL say is that if EVERYTHING is gasp worthy, then nothing is...

Fun fact! Magnets don't heal everything, but they are good for cleansing EMF from the body, which can really cause a lot of underlying harm. (Also, I think modern medicine is still really helpful)

I realize that this is from 2017, but I can't listen to this one always saying dumb shit. she literally just "can't believe" that a foot could come off in the JUNGLE IN PANAMA??? water is strong enough to break rocks and buildings... a broken bone that hasn't had any nutrients in days before she died, doesn't have a chance. And THEN this one is now making snide comments on everyone involved!?!? The parents didn't look hard enough? The girls were smarter than the CIA??? The girls probably looked basic in their selfies? HOLY HELL GIRL. I hope you have had a good long look at yourself since 2017 -2023 because I don't understand why you are so narrow minded.

if you like old things and appalachia, come to East TN! In the great smokies which is part of the trail, there's cades cove. It's an old applachian town, not a replica, an actual abandoned town. In 1940s the govt made the ppl evacuate, so they could turn the land into a historical park. The appalachian ppl, still living off the land and river, had to learn to adapt modern life. You can, now, walk through old cabins, see how they used the river as refridgeration, old churches, gravesyards, etc right in the mountains. Beware of both wildlife and traffic though. A lot of deer and black bears. Its a wonder place for hiking, and landscape photography.
