This week we are in part 2 of the 2023 Black History Month Series! On this week's episode of the podcast, I talk about the importance of representation. There is a plethora of research that suggests that it is extremely important for children to be exposed to positive images of people who looked like them! Representation is when children and adolescents see people who look and/or have similar experiences to them in books, media, politics, movies, and the many other things they consume on a daily basis. Join me in this episode so we can have a conversation about how you can make sure there is representation in your child's life.
