Every year, Christians around the world celebrate Easter.  However, when they celebrate Easter can vary dramatically. In fact, the possible dates of Easter can vary by over a month. What most people don’t know is that setting the date for Easter was one of the biggest controversies in the early Christian church. In fact, it was a major reason behind one of the most important councils in history.  Learn more about the Easter Controversy, aka Quartodecimanism, on this episode of Everything Everywhere Daily. Gary you don't talk too fast. I listen to you at 1.2x. What an odd complaint from people. They have full control over the speed if your voice!

The perfect podcast! Left 5 star reviews on apple, Spotify and Amazon just to show how much my kids and I enjoy our daily dose of learning from you! Our first review comes at today when we have finally listened to every episode. Greetings from Zanesville, Ohio. Oh, and my daughter has a request, she would love to hear you say the words "I actually love candy corn." Thank you Gary!

Great podcast. I install doors. Listen to podcasts all day. Yours is always a go-to. I live right next to the WWVB. You mentioned in an episode that your clock operates off its signal. Two other listening I issue a slight warning as Gary may smell like cheese as he may frequently wear some on his head. All in good fun I actually like the packers broncos fan though.

I thought that “snakes” were paganism and his goal like a lot of “saints” back then was to either convert or kill anyone that worshipped a different God or Gods and he looked down on the people of Ireland and wanted to eradicate their beliefs?
