We have the honor to welcome the one and only Scott Okamoto to the podcast today! Justin got to hang out with Scott for his book launch in Los Angeles and it was so good we felt like we had to have him on the show. As an Asian American college professor at a conservative university his revcovery looks different than many of our listeners but its themes of care for the other above dogmas and prioritizing curiosity over conservatism will feel very familiar.

Rev Dr. Sara Relaford is a former UMC minister whose perspective on the journey into and out of ministry has been so valuable to our community. She and her husband were a clergy couple who deconstructed their views on ministry at roughly the same time while managing two church’s worth of expectations.
