Everyday my daughters make me proud in one way or another. I look at them and thank God every day that they are better than me, wiser than me, more confident than me and braver than me. They are both completely different than I was growing up. And the biggest difference between me then and them now is Jesus! I never knew Jesus growing up, so I was lost and depressed. Both of my daughters have a personal relationship with Jesus and it is evident in everything they do and everything they are. Glory to God. In this short podcast I share a story that goes far beyond the surface. A simple decision that my daughter made, but a decision that most of us are too insecure and afraid to make. A decision that proves she is confident in who she is and want she wants.  Be Bold. Be Brave. Be You.

Hungry for change, hungry for success, hungry for God, hungry for the word of God. You've got to want to want it and want it bad. You've got to put in the work to receive the reward. Jesus spoke in parables to His disciples. Many non-believers of His time did not understand His parables or his teachings. I believe it is because they did not believe He was/is the son of God.  I don't think it is much different for us today reading His word in the bible. Unless we believe Jesus is the one and only savior, accept Him into our heart, seek Him daily, and ask for the Holy Spirit to help translate His word then we too may have a hard time understanding His parables, His word, His teachings.So...we must be hungry for the word of God! But after I was saved I realized that God does not waste anything! He uses everything for good, He turns everything around if you love Him and serve Him. It was then when my perspective changed. When I witnessed all the wounds, the scars, the pain were actually turned into my biggest weapons. Thru those wounds I found my confidence, my strength, my purpose....pretty much everything that I love about myself now. Lol, who knew? You see God is perfect, He makes no mistakes. When you love Him, serve Him and trust in Him...you witness things come together in the most unlikely way. That's when you grow and when your relationship with the Lord gets even deeper. Your wounds with become your weapons. Trust in Him. You were never created or expected to go thru this life alone. Be Brave. Be Bold. Be You.

Simple things, like having my car's lights set to auto so whenever it's dark they automactially turn on. All day I kept having to pick myself back up from the gloomy state of mind I kept finding myself in. And honestly, it was exhausting. However, I did give myself some credit because at least I was able to identify each time I was drifting off. Today was about hope and encouragement. Hope is critical to the human experience. Hope is what keeps us going...it keeps us focused on the good things ahead vs the darkness or turmoil we may be facing. Hope is what keeps us looking forward to a better day, a better future. I've been praying about this new year and asking for guidance. The word I was given was intentional. God was and is very intentional with everything He does and so He expects us to be the same. In this podcast I share a few ways to be intentional this new year. Hopefully you have a task, a goal or a dream you are working to achieve this year and the best way to do it is to keep God in first place. You can start by being intentional about your Spiritual life which includes reading His word and praying daily. I can assure you if you keep God in His rightful place everything else in your life will be in order of His will and in His timing all things will fall into place. Let's keep off this new year in 2023 with purpose by being intentional in all we do. Thats where insecurities come from, depression comes from, jealousy comes from, lust comes from and the list goes on and on....everything evil and opposite of God. Do not be conformed by this world, allow God to transform your mind and your life through Christ Jesus. Be Bold.
