Feeling stretched thin by the noise, change, and uncertainty around you? In this episode, I walk through a simple exercise that helped me step out of overwhelm: naming what I can control—and what I can't. We explore mindset, boundaries, energy, self-care, and how these choices translate to your leadership. When we refocus on the controllables, we reclaim clarity, confidence, and connection—the keys to leadership magic. Enjoy! We often spend quite a bit of time thinking about what OTHERS think about us and how they percieve us.  How much time do you spend on being clear on how YOU think about yourself?  If you see yourself as a leader - others are more likely to.  If you see yourself as a confident person - it's more likely that others will too. Of course, we can't truly control what others think.  But how you think about yourself will impact how you show up and more directly - on your results.   And will influence how others see you. We talk all about it in this episode. Enjoy! I have a treat for you this week!  it's been a while since I've had a guest on the podcast, and this one is worth the wait. I sat down with Dr. Cindra Kamphoff, award-winning keynote speaker, certified mental performance coach, and owner of the Mentally Strong Institute. She's worked with the Minnesota Vikings, USA Track & Field at the Tokyo Olympics, and countless leaders and entrepreneurs, and her newest book, The Confidence Habit: 7 Core Practices to Turn Self-Doubt into Self-Belief, just became a two-time national bestseller in its first week. In this conversation, Cindra breaks down why confidence isn't something you're born with - it's a feeling, a decision, a skill, and a belief, and every one of those can be trained. We talk about the five confidence traps, why she prefers the term "imposter phenomenon" over "imposter syndrome," the real difference between confidence and arrogance, and her seven core practices for building lasting self-belief. She also shares an incredibly moving story about a win wall she built with her family. If you've ever doubted yourself in a role you've earned, or you just want a more consistent, trainable sense of confidence, this episode is for you. Enjoy! This week I'm picking up right where episode 243 left off. If you already know Insights Discovery is way more than a personality profile, but you're still asking "okay, now what do we actually do with it?" — this episode is for you. I walk through how I help individuals, teams, and whole organizations find their real starting point with Insights, and why the tool itself isn't where you begin — the goal is. I cover entry points at each level (individual, team, and organization-wide), how they connect to programs like Managing Self for Performance, Discovering Team Effectiveness, and Insights Explore, and why none of this has to happen in a strict sequence. If you've been wondering where to start — or you started and stalled — this one will help you find your next step. Enjoy! I've talked about Insights Discovery on this podcast many, many times — it's core to everything I do. But if you've only ever gone through that first intro workshop and gotten your color energy profile, I want you to know: that's just the beginning. In this episode, I'm walking you through the full Insights Discovery toolkit — all the programs, profiles, and workshops that exist beyond that first assessment. From Managing Self for Performance to Full Circle 360 feedback to Discovering Leadership Effectiveness, there's a whole ecosystem here, and I want you to see it. Next week, I'll help you figure out where to actually start. Enjoy!
