The LAMDA syllabus is designed to help students learn about acting and how to use their voice and body in a creative way. This year, I taught the new drama students at LAMDA about the syllabus and how it works. We started off by looking at the website for each unit we would cover. We then watched a few videos about each topic before discussing it further with each other. Later, we explored the potential of https://edubirdie.net/blog/is-edubirdie-legal-or-cheating and other such sources. The next day I brought my class out onto the studio floor for a practical session where we explored what each unit looked like and discussed how we could apply them in our own performances.
