The story is told of how a woman by the name of Naomi and her husband, Elimelech, left their home country Jerusalem because of a great famine. They migrated to the land of Moab to find better and though things improved somewhat, tragedy struck. The story did not end there. Enjoy this moving story where weeping turned to joy.
This episode of Reflections is based on a personal experience on how I got God to smile. On Friday, January 5, 2024, I needed a YES from Him regarding an EXAM and He smiled and said, „YES“. He wants to give you SMILES and YESES too and this is how. Take a listen and be blessed!🙏🏾
Is there something in your life that you have prayed and hope and longed for for a very long time? Me too! I believe this is the year of miracles and supernatural favours. There was a bible text that came to me as I got this inspiration: Joshua 3:5. This could be your year if you do your part….Be blessed as you listen this episode of Reflections!🙏🏾❤️
This episode is about an inspiring true story shared by Terry Gogna on TikTok. At the age of 19 years old he never uttered a prayer in his life because he never believed in God. But a day came when he saw a young lady at a party, with whom he immediately fell in love with, never made any contact with him but needed to see her again. He knew she was going be his wife but, had no idea how to reach her. Listen as he shared the miracle! #powerful Bible References: Ecclesiastes 9:23 Jeremiah 10:23 Matthew 11:28-30 Romans 5:8 Numbers 11
In the Summer of 2018, 12 junior soccer players and their 25 year-old couch headed for the Tham Luang Cave after a practise match and got stuck in the cave because of rapid flooding that took place as a result of a sudden rain fall. The youngsters were stuck in the cave up to 10 days without food before world-renown divers John Volanthen and Rick Stanton eventually found them. Did they get out alive? In this episode of Reflections a summary of the movie was done and then the spiritual lessons we can all take away was shared. Be blessed as you listen. :) Bible References: Psalms 46:10 Psalms 121:1-3 Matthew 7:24-27
Welcome to another episode of Reflections! In this episode I reflected on an article that was recently published on Kalingatv.com, stating that on July 29, 2022, the earth completed its rotation at 1.59 milliseconds on its axis. What does that mean? What does time mean to you? Be blessed as you listen! Text References: Romans 8:28-30 Matthew 24:14,22 1 Thessalonians 4:14 Psalms 16:7-8
Hello and welcome to another episode of Reflections! :D...The subject of this episode was triggered by a recent article I read, published by the NYT on July 23, 2022, where Alex Beggs quoted the words of an author by the name of Chelsea G. Summers, "There is a time and place for Cannibalism...the time is now." I found this statement fascinating and uncanny at the same time, because of how it's buzzing in books and Hollywood productions, parallel to economic factors that are being played out, resembling a time in history. Be inspired as you listen! :) Bible References: 2 Kings 6:24-30 Revelation 13:6 Daniel 12:2 Matthew 24 Isaiah 49:15 Lamentation 4:10 John 6:48-57 Matthew 4:4 John 11: 25-26 Other Supporting Texts: Psalm 27:2 Jeremiah 19:9

Hello and welcome to another episode of Reflections! Last Sunday I went to a fun picnic-GRILL in Stadt Park, located in Hamburg Germany. Those of you who are familiar with that huge park you would agree that parking can be a problem during the day time, especially on weekends. A delay situation, to our surprise, created a parking spot right in from of the park, which became the "spin-off" to today's topic. Be blessed as you listen! :) Reference text: Rom.8:28
If I were you ask you, "Do you know how to recite the Lord's Prayer?" Chances are you might respond, "Of course!" But do we ever stop to take a real look at the words embedded in that prayer and what they are really telling us? This episode of Reflections breaks down the "Our Father Prayer" part by part. Be blessed as you listen :) Bible references: Matthew 6:9-13 John 10:10 Matthew 5:17; 23-24 Matthew 6:14-15 Matthew 18:20
Hello and welcome to another episode of Reflections! In this episode I reflected on my Sunday afternoon spent by the Alster Lake, located in the city of Hamburg, Germany. There was this lady walking a bulldog and I couldn't help but notice the bullish disposition of the dog. Is there something to learn from this interaction? Be blessed as you listen. :) Text Reference: John 6:37 Isaiah 41:10

GRATITUDE

In these times of constant change and craziness, there are different things challenging our peace, sense of security and economic wellbeing. But despite how life is challenging us, we can still shift our focus to an attitude of gratitude and be deliberate about always being thankful for things that make us blessed and for all the good that have come to our lives. That will ease the weight of it all and create opportunities for more blessings. Be blessed as you listen. :) Text Reference: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Psalms 118:1 Daniel 2:23 Philippians 4:6,7 Colossians 4:2

My friend, Dennis, and I went to this beautiful city on Monday, June 6, which was the holiday - Pfingsten, translated to mean Pentecost. while touring the "Wasserturm" (Water Tower), I misplaced my purse and 2 angels ensured it was returned to me. This episode of Reflections is about how powerful and real prayer is, in the life of anyone who does it. Talking with God is like having a conversation with a good friend. It is a powerful tool that make sense, especially in this confused world we come to live. In this episode of Reflections I have decided to try something by including a little German speaking. :) With me was Dennis, who is a native German-speaker and together we co-hosted this episode and spoke about what prayer does for us. We also shared some benefits of prayer and some Bible texts that help those who are inclined to prayer. Be blessed as you listen! Bible references: Jeremiah 29:12 Mark 11:24 Psalm 17:6 Philippians 4:6

Gersham, who originates from Jamaica, is currently living in Germany for the past 3 1/2 years. He tells his story of what life has been like as he pursues his dream to become a Corporate Lawyer. Gersham came from humble beginnings and his message to the listeners is, 'Whatever your pursuit, never quit no matter how tough things get.' As a part of the minority group he is not deterred by the old UK idiom, "Law is for rich, old, white men."
Sadness is a negative emotion that affects all human beings, let's call it an unwelcome visitor. Recently I read a 5-Day Devotional entitled, "How to be a Finisher" and I found it inspiring and would love to reflect on it with you in this episode of Reflections.
