Welcome to the Clinical Legal Education Podcast, brought to you by the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education. Welcome to the Clinical Legal Education Podcast, brought to you by the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education.  In this episode, we focus on the IJCLE’s recent special edition: Entrepreneurial Law Clinics in Clinical Legal Education.  Elaine speaks to Eliza Platts-Mills and Emily Wapples from qLegal, based at Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London. Eliza and Emily’s article Thinking Like Entrepreneurs: Qlegal’s Experience of Teaching Law Students to have an Entrepreneurial Mindset made a key contribution to the special edition. In our wide-ranging discussion, they talk about the history and legacy of qLegal, the concept of an entrepreneurial mindset, and how they structure their projects to ensure synergy.   Links  You can read all of the articles in the special edition here.  The direct link to Eliza and Emily’s article is here.
In this episode, we catch up with podcast co-host Molly, as she reflects on a year in the Student Law Office at Northumbria Law School, UK.  When we started the podcast Molly was about to embark on her journey in the Student Law Office (see our Introductory episode for a reminder of Molly's expectations of clinic). Now that she's completed the Student Law Office module, it's an excellent opportunity to hear what she's been doing and listen to her words of guidance for clinic students. This is a fascinating discussion covering live client work, clinic projects, student engagement in clinic conferences, being creative in meetings, and the challenges of reflection.  We hope you enjoy this episode.
